Baggage Damaged, items missing and Broken by cabin crew
The treatment I have received from several Kingfisher staff has been appalling and Kingfisher have done nothing constructive about these issues. In fact they have ignored all my correspondence.

On my journey from London to Goa, one case was broken into and some items were missing. Kingfisher staff failed to organise repair or communicate properly with me over a period of 4 weeks, has caused me to miss functions and tours previously organised. They did not collect the case for repair as arranged, however they claim that the case cannot be fixed and offered me compensation of Rs3, 000 (€40), which I refused as the case is new and will cost €300. So they ignored me. What about the missing items??

On return journey a cabin crew broke my laptop by dropping it from the overhead bin right onto the floor, causing it to break. This landed me with problems and delays in completing a very important report which I had intended to complete on board the flight for a meeting in London at 10am the following day.

Due to the timescales and the fact that I would have to spend some 4-5 hrs to redo the entire report, I was mindful of the limited time I would have. I, therefore, requested an upgrade to Club class so I would be able to sleep and be able to complete my reports on my return to my office in the UK at approx 9pm. This request was declined despite there being seats available.

Flight departing Delhi was delayed by about an hour which added to my already stressed state.

It may have been something I ate on board the aircraft or through the stress caused to me, I broke out in a rash on my face and asked for some cream. I was told that there was some in the first class washroom and when I approached there, was told that I was not allowed entry. I explained that I just wanted a bit of cream but was still refused any. Even a small request was refused to me and I am wondering what first aid, if any, is on board Kingfisher aircraft.

On arrival into the UK, I approached the Kingfisher rep and tried to explain my problems, she kept interrupting my explanations about 3-4 times and insinuated that I was lying by saying that I was telling her 'two different stories". Eventually I had to raise my voice above hers asking to be quiet and just listen without interruption. I am offended by her interruptions and rudeness. She refused to give me her name.

On collecting my cases off the conveyor belt, my second case was damaged on the outside. I reported this to the same rep and she told me very rudely that I would not get any compensation from Kingfisher. I did not think it was her decision to make and I reported the damage to the desk dealing with Kingfisher issues.

From the above issues, as a guest using Kingfisher airlines, I paid for a very unacceptable and regrettable experience with Kingfisher staff.

I have already completed 3 comment forms on board the aircraft from Delhi to London, and just in case it did not get to Kingfisher, I complained on their website and also email their [email protected]. NO REPLY.

I also wrote directly to the [email protected] in greater detail and still NO REPLY.

I have travelled with Kingfisher several times, in fact I was on one of their first flights flying from the UK to Goa via Bangalore. I have always maintained it a good airline and have always recommended it to my colleagues and friends. However following this and several rumours that Kingfisher standards have dropped, I feel my recent experience have only confirmed this.

I feel very strongly about the poor service and/or lack of service from Kingfisher. They have not even conducted an enquiry into all points raised above or to let me know exactly how I will be compensated for each. I have names, times and dates of each person I have spoken to at Kingfisher and what was said.

I explained to Kingfisher that I am traveling back to India to do some charity work in July 2011, December 2011 and February 2012 with other colleagues and friends. I am heading this project and am therefore requesting a response and conclusion as soon as possible for obvious reasons. NO REPLY.

Now I understand that Kingfisher is not IATA registered and therefore my travel insurance may be void. I will give them 2 weeks to respond to my letters and emails and if they do not, I will consult with a solicitor and hopefully gain some compensation and further will tell my story to the media.

Cheating offers from Kingfisher
I recently started using Kingfisher airlines, as I have been using just Jet Airways previously. I feel should go back to my old days travelling in Jet.
As part of the promotions for Gold customers there are some promo codes released, with a lure of direct flights return bookings (free except taxes). If you try using the promo code on King Fisher airlines it does not list any direct flights, do the same without the Promo code, bang there are direct flights available.
These guys are such a cheat, and their marketing philosophy of capturing customers by cheating and then ripping off ...is classic...
Such a shoddy cal center...gosh...
Just be aware of getting trapped into such fradulent lures...

Missed the Flight because of your Irresponsibility
This is Surekha Avasarala from Wipro Technologies, i have to travel to chennai from Hyderabad on 27-Feb-2011 at 6:30 pm and the Flight No : 2475. I missed the flight because the Status of this fight is not displayed on the Notice board. I checked in before 30 min but KingFisher people doesn't allow me in giving boarding Pass. Actually i am going for Business Purpose, because of them i missed the fight and i lost 1 day business and also missed some important meetings. The Customer Care is very bad, they spoke to me in very arogent way. I really disappointed with the KingFisher service and also hospitality towards Customer. Because of their neglegence i was supposed to take another ticket of additional 1500 rupess for 28-Feb-2011. I really felt very bad with this service. Those people said if i arrive before 5 min they might have given me boarding pass, but i came at 6:00 pm, so what is the difference in 5 min. I generally travel through flights, but nowhere i have seen this kind of senario.

bad customer service
Respected Sod.
My mother is a cancer patient & every month she has to go to del to get her medical check-up done. Always a member from our family accompanies her. This month we had some engagements & due tothat my mother had to travel alone, so we decided to get her ticket done in king fisher airline so that she gets good customer service. But today I realized that it was not a very good decision & it was the worst day of our life to trust KFA(king fisher airlines) & get my mother booked in the same. The whole incident goes like:
On 30th jan 11, my mother was booked on KFA flt no: IT-3135 from Del-Sxr under PNR :DHLMGB ticket no:0902469082333. Our family was continously in touch with my mom through her cell. And all the way we were assuring her that she will not feel our absence as she is travelling in a branded airline where customer service is a motto. At sharp 11:45 my mother reported at the counters & waited in the long queque & there was nobody for her assistance, I mean to carry her bag etc & guide her.when it was her turn to get the boarding card she was not accepted & was declared no-show for the flight. She could not understand the techinical term NO-SHOW & called us. We asked her to go to the staff & they will help you.But the disgusting part is that my mother was left alone there & there was nobody to guide her. We got in touch with your customer service toll free number but they said they cannot help untill staff explains the whole picture. After half an hour of counter closure your GSE Mr. Gurjinder was located by my mother as we were continously on line, we told our mother to make us speak to him. But he said he cannot talk to anybody. I was feeling my mother so hepless, as she was crying & literally begging your staff to speak to us. She did not know how to book another flight. Then I explained my mom to ask him book her on next available flight(that was next day) which she somehow managed. She had a very little money left afterher medical examination & some testes. Then that money she spend on way back to hotel & some hotel rent & next day fare to airport.
Next day when she reported at 09:30 to airport, she was informed that flt is xxld. That was not the least, my mom was asked to go to gate 44 where she was only pax from kfa & actually it was 9w counter there. I still wonder why my mother was send there. Was it to get rid of her.then my mother called me & said that I am lost as there is nobody to help me, I have no money left & I have a very little recharge in my mobile. She was crying & only crying. Even she had no medicines as same were in the bag & she had no idea where the same was & where she was send. We all tried to relax her as she was veryscared with whole incident. Then we tried to explain her to go back to kfa counters. My mother is a house wife & not highly qualified, so she hesitates to speak. When she reached kfa counters, she tried to explain to your another gse Ms Shalini that she has carcinoma, she is not well & wanted her to speak to us. But again your staff denied. I tried to call your del apt single point contact no but I am surprised even in that crisis that number was switched off. I tried to pacify my mother & asked her to speak to GSE Shalini again about her health problem maybe this time she will help. As my mother was holding the line while speaking to your gse I could hear every single word your staff was telling my mother. The answer your staff Ms shalini gave was that we are not here to to attend your personal calls, we are not your assistants. I was very upset & called your customer care toll free number, where they said they cant take complaints & I need to write it down to guest care (same can be confirmed from your cc).
My mother was very tense & she fainted due stress & mental torture by your staff . A pax nearby who was also travelling vy same flt helped my mother & spoke to us.I requested him to take care of my mother. It’s a shame on your part that your staff couldnot perform their duties well & an outsider helped my mother. And it did not end here, the worst part was when my mother was fine & tried to contact manager for hotel accomodation & taxi fare as it was flt xxln from your side, GSE Ms shalini did not allow that stating that she is manager moreover she added that she is not running a langar here. Ultimately my mom was not given anything & she had to sell her gold ring to spend 01 more night at del hotel & buy herself some water and clean food. Next day we decided to book her in some other airline as we could not afford our mother to go through that torture & humilation again. Trust me it was the worst decision of ours to book my moms ticket in such flt wher staff humilates & horifies sick & illerate pax. Moreover tortures them mentally. I will make sure that such mistake is never repeated& nobody from my friends, family, relatives & collouges travel by your airline. My mom is still in shock & god forbid if anything goes wrong trust me I will held your staff and your airline resoponsible. I will also make sure that more & more people get to know your reality. I would like to request your concerned deptt. to keep a person ready for enquiry with a contact source so that people like us can atleast expect some good service & help for our dear ones when they are travelling alone.

Money deducted but not tickets in mailbox
Hi

I have booked Flight IT151 Pune-Delhi(22nd Jan, 2011) and Flight IT154 Delhi-Pune(24th Jan, 2011) Flight at about 2:00PM today(19/01/2011).Trasaction was complete(net banking) and Rs11114 was deducted from my ICICI account, but I did not get the PNR number and the tickets in my mailbox.I have attached mini statement from my ICICI account as well. I have written to [email protected] for a refund as told by Customer care department but no replies.Can any one tell me what should I do next...

Non Receipt of Checked in baggage from Bangkok by Kingfisher Airlines
My brother, Kaustubh Agrawal, resident of Akola Maharashtra, travelled from Bangkok to Mumbai by Kingfisher on the 18th December After more than one and a half hours after clearing immigration at Mumbai on the morning of 18th December he and some fellow passengers were informed by the ground staff that their checked baggage had been off loaded at Bangkok itself rather none of the baggages were loaded in flight and the passengers were not informed about it until they reached mumbai. My brother Kaustubh Agrawal was categorically assured by the said ground staff that his bags would be delivered at his residence in Akola within 48 hrs. The bag had some watches, chocolates, perfumes and his important documents like marksheets and engineering degree, apart from all his good clothes.
Baggage were not delivered even after 6 days after arrival of the said flight in spite of regular follow up.

As the documents were not available with him he was unable to attend an interview.We have to purchase new clothings and other things as the baggage was not delivered for 6 days.Also my father went to mumbai for inquiry where no proper answer was given to him.The Kingfisher officials were too rude to response him also it cost us expenditure of 15000 rs.I request you to look into the matter and grant me the suitable compensation.

In this connection the following points are material:

1. Passengers were told of the baggage off loading more than five hours after departure of their flight from Bangkok
2. No specific information about the misplaced baggage is available with any luggage handling ground person at Mumbai
3. No one from Kingfisher made a single call to him in the 6 days since detection of the incident explaining the true state of affairs and he was completely in the dark and running from pillar to post
4. No one in Kingfisher could provide the phone number of any senior official of luggage handling.
5. No escalation Matrix is available anywhere in the public domain to take the matter up with any higher authority of Kingfisher
6. The Kingfisher toll free helpline could not provide any information on the matter

no refund
I purchased my airline ticket on 22nd sep 2010 from Delhi to Amritsar at Delhi airport at Kingfisher office by using my credit card. I missed my air India flight due to my lost baggage at Delhi airport and that's why I had to book kingfisher airline. My flight number was IT 4303 and my reference number is 0902168674901.First time this flight was going to take off at 5:10 p.m but then it was delayed for 2 hours and then at 9 o'clock at night it was cancelled due to rain.I talked to some people who were also going to Punjab and we altogether 4 people hired a cab and we came to Punjab.We were miserable because we ask airline to provide us room or food for night but they said no.At last we reached our destination in Punjab at 6 o'clock in the morning.I talked to kingfisher office few times and I went to their office at Amritsar airport. They said they will call me or send me an email about my refund, but I haven't got any phone call or any email from kingfisher airline. I am already back from India to USA but I am still waiting for my refund.Does it happen to everyone or just me?

non refund ofr ticket cancalled because of company's cancellation of flight
We had booked three tickets for flight IT514 320 from Kolkata to Mumbai scheduled to leave Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport on 12 Sept 2010 at 20:25 hrs. We had booked each ticket separately because we had used your Rs 500 discount coupon and had paid Rs. 3928 per ticket. For your reference, the details are as follows: Ticket no.090246798021 Booking Reference(PNR): ISGCPH; tckt no. 0902467927758- bkng ref(PNR): NAFVYR; and tckt no. 090246798156-bkn ref(PNR): MMIODL.However, we got a message from you that the evening flight on 12 Sept was cancelled and that we could be accommodated on the morning flight which didn't suit our purposes. So we requested cancellation of all three tickets and were assured a full refund. When we called on 27 August, we were given receipt no.0900470141235 and assured the entire amount for three tickets would be credited into out account within 5 working days.However, on getting our credit statement in October, we realized that we had received a refund for two tickets only. We called Kingfisher and were advised to file our complaint on your website which we did. After a month's wait, we noticed in our new statement that there has been no refund for the remaining ticket. Kindly let us know when we can expect the remaining amount. We look forward to a quick settlement of this issue.

REFUND OF RS.6341 FOR CANCEL TICKET
I got booked ticket No.090-3751466659 on 14.08.2010 vide reservation No.Y2HA2Z . Airline confirmation NO.NLYMOG, Flight No.3502 from Chandigarh IXC to Mumbai for 22nd August 2010 with depart time 15.50 hrs. and arrival time 18.20 hrs. through Chopson Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana.

I reached at flight time at Chandigarh and it came to my notice that the flight NO.3502 was cancelled and preponed to 9.00 hrs from Chandigarh to Delhi and Delhi to Mumbai.
There was no alternative and due to urgency I had to book through another flight vide Airline PNR ULNDN7, E-Ticket No.ULNDN7.
But so far no refund has been made Rs.6341/- need to be refunded immdly.

When I should expect refund ?

Unprofessional at airline security - Hubli Airport
I travelled on KF flt IT2122 on the 13th of Aug, 2010 from Hubli to Mumbai on seat# 02A and the PNR# GIBFQA. The irony was that some ground staff guys and gals I think are too over reactive to security issues that make them eventually look like bunch of clowns. I declared after scanning on my checked-in baggage that there were 4-5 hotel complimentary match boxes and a cigarette gas lighter. I then informed the person scanning the baggage that I used to smoke till about 2 months ago but gave up and these match boxes and the lighter was there from then. I also agree that the security issue is very important, but shouldn’t be used to just joke or make it appear as funny as is being done by persons lacking insight and identifying targets for focused needs. I was also checked again after leaving the security lounge for the cabin baggage twice in spite of clarifying to the female ground staff that I am not carrying any more match boxes and lighter. Moreover this re-check of cabin baggage may appear to the professional form the state police that they are not capable and vigilant. I have travelled all over the US and then I used to smoke, but was never targeted by their security for any reason whatsoever. There is also a point to note that the match boxes and the lighter was in my checked-in baggage for more than six months and during this period I would have taken 20 flights from Mumbai and back in Jet Airways, KF and Air India.

I know that Hubli being a very small airport do not have persons well trained but they have to rely on their individual abilities and do their best to show their abilities. I also find that their over indulging in areas not in their specialization makes them does look like jokers.

I hope you wouldn’t mind my frankness to having exposed the weakness with your employees in very small airports. But you would look into this matter in the right perspective for better trained persons and professionals employed in positions which involve the country’s security.
