Ordered chain mail from this company for the purpose of wearing to a LARP event as web site advertises LARP/SCA armor.

Chain mail looked fine upon arrival.

However, it had holes in it after the first LARP event I wore it to and appeared tarnished, even though the event only lasted for 1 weekend and I don't get into heavy combat fighting. We use boffer weapons.

Attempted to get refund from vendor. Vendor refused and also stated that he would not have recommended that product to me if I had asked him. Nothing on the website said I should not have purchased that product.

Attempted to get refund from credit card company.

I patched it up and wore it to the second event. It was literally falling off me by the end of the second event.

Credit card company refused to give me a refund saying that I had the opportunity to examine it first. Well of course I examined it first! I would not have worn it to the first event if it had not appeared fine and dandy.

I have photos to prove my story.

Hopefully at least I can deter others from making the mistake of buying from this company.
