On 11/17/08 purchased a kitchen range for pickup in store. It
was supposed to be available after 3:00PM 11/19/08. Approx. 2:15pm sales person called saying the stove arrived early, but another salesman had sold it to another customer. He assured me he could have one there by 3:00pm 11/21/08. I reluctantly said OK.
Arrived at store at 2:50pm 11/21, was told stove was not there, they didn't know where the truck was. I got very loud and store
manager got on the phone and then said the truck was at another store 75 miles away but 'was getting ready to leave, and should be at this store in one hour' (75 miles an hour????)
I asked him if he could guarantee the stove was on that truck; he said 'no, I can't. It is supposed to be.'
I told him I was tired of their lies; I wanted a full credit, and he could stick the stove where the sun never shines.
What bothers me? Not once did the store manager say something like 'I am sorry for this mixup', or 'we dropped the ball, but please give us another chance when you need another applicance.'
All this while I actually counted 11 sales persons milling around
the door waiting for a customer to come in.
