Poor customer service
I like going to Kmart as it has a lot of things that you need at home all under one roof. Most of the time they have things on special which may save you few dollars. Recently near my area, a Kmart started to operate 24 hours which is great. The only thing that really bother me when I go to Kmart is the poor customer service. Unlike a lot of other stores (e.g. Woolworths, Coles, etc) staff members at Kmart show you that, they are not profissional, they have very poor customer service and they always have an ugly looks on their faces! A lot of my friends also told me the exact same thing which made us all decide to avoid going to Kmart as much as we could.

Poor customer service
Went to Kmart warwick to have a battery fitted to car, It was a disaster

they did not protect the radio information, said their instrument

malfunctioned. The guy at desk was not polite, very arrogent.. I asked them

to undo the problem they caused, was unable to do so, . He said he would refund the account, I agreed, he took out the battery and put old back in car?. I am left with no radio operating because of their carelessness

and incompetence, . I am left with the cost of geting the radio fixed

and dont yet know if they have caused any other electronic problem|.

I had an appointment which I missed and tolerated two australian guys

being totally uninterested at the problem they have left me with;.

I do not see why I have to pay the cost OF REPAIRING this problem,

I understand the only way is to put another radio, none of this my fault,

plwease assist and advise/. The inconvenience is even worse because of their

incompetence.

manager and rewards
my sister and i was in the hershburger store and the cashier renee was vwey awsome! i had coupons that they were advertised and she could not get them to take. the manager that came was a very young man. he was so rude to us and the cashier. he kept cussing, alotand grabbed the ad and while cussing he tore up the ad and done everything himself. he should not be cussing in front of customers and if he had something to say to the cashier, do it in private. he did not take off mykmartcoupon for 10 times points for garden and the three manufactures coupons. after he left renee kept saying how sorry she was. she helped us find the flowers we wanted and some things that i had not came for. she was so patient with us and the very rude person! she should be crowned for all she went through and all the patience she showed. i used to be manager and i was ready to cuss him out good and proper! please take care of this. i am going to blog and facebook this if not taken care of thank you, darlene hanna

Lawaway
I went to the layaway department to pay on my layaway, I was going to pay half of it. There was no one there and the bell wasn't working, there was a sign that said any clerk would page layaway for me. I didn' t see anyone so I went to customer service. I stood for 30 minutes while the clerk had to give this lady an additionl 10% discount on things she had recieved a 40% discount on the day before, but today it was 50% off. Well, that was too long to wait, so I finally found an employee to page layaway, 20 minustes no one shows, the girl at Olan mills paged layaway again. No one showed. I walked out, and I'm going to cancel my $400.00 layaway. I doubt if I ever shop at Kmart again. Walmart here I come

poor service
i was shopping then went to the check out line the cashair was rude i tryed to give her my rewards card and she refused to take it said it was to late
and if i didnt like it i could shop else where . the manager came and said i could call and place my points i shop here at least 3 times a week i guess i wont be shopping there again the sales are good and with the points i can get things free but now its not worth going first time ive been treated that way at a kmart

Being disrespected
I have worked in retail for 30 years and I have never been so disrespected and humiliated by one company. I have been yelled at on the floor in front of customers by two members of the management team, yelled at by a member of the Loss Prevention team on the floor in front of customers and that member threatened to terminate me. I was given a raise last year and was forced to give it back because I was hired after a certain date. I have been reprimanded for putting phone calls through to the manager when the party on the other end asked to speak with the manager and on May 25, 2011, I was asked a very personal question in front another employee. I do have to excuse myself to go to the restroom and will contiue to do so of the need arises. This store has had numerous complaints from present and former employees and noone has taken the time to address them. I will not tolerate being spoken to with such disrespect and with no regards to my feelings anymore by the management team or anyone else. If further action is not taken over this matter, I will be forced to take it one step further.

Cashier
I was in kmart shopping and bought a few items, I live two hours away and had been in watertown to visit my grandmother for the day. We left kmart and headed home, when we were about 45 minutes away my daughter wanted her snack I had bought for her so I got out the kmart bag and opened it up, after digging for the snacks I saw a pair of eyeglasses that I had not bought and they were not mine. I used my cellphone to call the store and was told they belonged to the chasier, she had them on her shirt and they must have slipped off into the bag, she begged me to overnight them back to her. I did it and she had said she would pay me back, I included my home address and overnighted her glasses. She never said thank you never repaid me. I called a few times and she was rude to me, I didn't steal her glasses she should have secured them better. I was out 25 dollars(had to insure them of course cause she said they were expensive) I was a single mom and that 25 dollars was a bag of pampers to me.

false advertisement
I had a circular and a 32 in TV was on sale for $289.00.There was a $30.00 coupon good on a $100.00 or more purchase excluding furniture, outdoor living, lawn & garden, infants, toys, hardware, home improvements, home fragrances & prior purchases prior paid special order lands end .There was no mention of electronics which is what a TV is right.Well the sale started April 3rd I went up on the 2nd and to make sure I went to customer service and the clerk called over the manager Ray he read the coupon and said yes it is valid.On the 3rd I returned and got the TV and a comforter that was on sale.When I got to the register I gave the coupon to the cashier and assured her I had already been told it qualified.Well she calls over the same cerk from the day before & she said that she remembered some lady from the day before and that Ray said it was ok.Then she went over to customer service and spoke to Ray and I was told sorry I couldn't use it.If this isn't false advertissement or fraud I don't know what is so beware looks like even when your right your wrong with this place my card is cut into a million pieces and I will tell anyone including the BBB & NYS atty Gen who will listen as I got one of those we will get back to you emails.I have had problems with this co in the past fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me well Done WITH KMART SEARS

dry rot boots
hi i bought a 54 dollar pair of boots at kmart they nfell apart went back got another pair they did the same thing got incoact with seras because they really own kmart talk to dylan and he said that kmart would contact me in 2 bisiness dats and they have not did it yet its been all most a week and im stil wearing the boots because i dont have the money to go and buy another pair the boots probably been on the shelves for a long time that is idsgrace that you buy something and it falls apart on you in 2 weeks so i hope they read this and realize thats it wrong to do a customer like that the store is in crystal lake il and they wasnt going to return the first pair and finally they did and now they havnt got back in touch with me yet

Insurance Policy Not Honored
Was told by the cashier it would cover pretty
much anything I could think of before purposely throwing it out the window. Well, I accidently left a spoon in my soup bowl
and it "blew up" the microwave, so I gave them a call to see about getting a replacement microwave. They replied saying
that the insurance policy will NOT cover the "blow up" and that I will have to purchase a new microwave myself.

If indeed the policy wasn't going to cover the microwave in this instance, then K-Mart should be correctly informing their
employees about the insurance policies so that I know exactly what I'm paying for. This leaves me to replace my
microwave and also I lose the amount paid for the insurance policy that does nothing for me. What a waste!

Location: Bought microwave at 1500 Coshocton Ave, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 (740) 392-5005 and called the Fairborn,
Ohio location to see if the insurance policy would be honored.
