No Survey
Following directoins on receipt, went to website and couldn't find survey .If there is no survey then at least you could have provided a place to leave my 19 digit receipt no. I do shop at kmart often and am very displeased that they would advertise a contest and then not make it available for their customers to enter. Not a very good business practice if I must so.

Unfair treatment of a disabled person
My daughter who is Mentally Impaired shopped at KMart in Greenville, MI. several times. When she would ask for help with an item's price and ask does she have enough to get it, the employee would be very rude to her. My daughter had come home on several occasions complaining about the treatment she received from the employees there. On May 2, 2009 my daughter went to Greenville KMart to shop for Hanna Montana stuff. She had money on her when she left home. She also had her back pack which has her school supplies in it along with water and snacks for her while in Greenville. She went into the store and started shopping, she had found some lotion and some other stuff she liked. She asked one of the employees if she had enough to get the item/items. Again the employee was very rude to her and said thats for kids, adults cannot buy it. Then my daughter was looking around the store. And she looked at some cds/dvds/etc. And there was others in the area she did not know. The others ran out of the store. She continued shopping when all of a sudden an employee approched her and grabbed her arm [causing bruises], took her to the back room accusing her of stealing items. The police was called in. My daughter told them several times "she is handicapped and she wanted me [her mother], step dad, sister, or brother in law present during questioning. Cause she does not understand what they are asking her. She said this several times and each time she was refused that right, they also refused her the right to make a phone call. Her memorandium rights were not read to her before questioning. She was forced into signing papers that she did not understand or could read. [She can not read]. She was arrested and taken to jail. After this we got a lawyer and I requested some kind of video/audio tapes to prove what had happened on that date. I was told they do not have a working camera in the whole store so they do not have any type of tapes that they can provide. So this is a case of the employees word against a handicapped persons word. I believe my daughter is innocent, cause it has been months now and she tells everyone at different times the same thing she said in the beginning. The story has not changed. I feel that KMart violated my daughter's legal rights along with her civil rights. I feel that the Greenville Police Department also violated these rights. This is my complaint and we are fighting these charges as of right now. I will take it to the highest court if need be. My daughter is innocent and this was very unfair justice with a handicapped person.

rude treatment by employees
I am disabled & must walk with a walker, my legs are in bad shape so it hurts to stand a long time. I couldn't get a refund on the moisterizer I tried to return, & they would only give me a gift card on the other but while we were waiting for the mgr. she took care of another customer & left me standing until that one was done. It seems like they think I have the black plague or something, they totally ignore me unless I wave & talk loudly because I have to use a walker, I'm invisible to everyone because I'm not normal, but they care for the healthy ones first & leave me standing & waiting. It will take me at least a week now for the swelling to go down in my ankles, knees & hips. I have $0.91 left on the gift card, but nothing in the store for that price so I don't think I'll ever shop there again. Whatever happened to treating the customer with respect?

kmart survey - no such thing
on the receipt, it says to go to the website, take a survey to be entered to win a $2500 shopping spree. there is no such website. THAT is a scam. too bad because the shopping experience was fine.

purchased shirts but did not get them
Purchased items at the checkout in the garden department. Only purchased a few items (toiletries, cracker jacks, and 2 tank tops). I paid cash. When we were getting our change she was talking to us about mango & milk drinks how it keeps her hydrated because we were going to buy a coke but decided it wasn't refreshing enough. We were discussing this with ourselves (my husband & I). She started telling us how in her family they eat mango once a day & how it keeps the cool for the day. I picked up 2 bags and she continued talking. She was pleasant but distracted us to what we were doing abit. We took the bags took them home and placed on kitchen counter. When I looked thru the bags the 2 tank tops were not in there. I know for sure I left them on the counter and someone either took them thinking they were theirs. I know they did not come home with me. I had 2 bags only . I shop there quite often but she was a distraction that caused me to leave my bag. When I went back, she said I know I saw you leave with the bags. Well of course I left with 2 bags but they didn't have the shirts in them. The store is going to take the side of the employee, but I know I didn't take them with me. The shirts were only $5 apiece, but I needed them for a trip. What ticked me off some more was the fact I had to wait for some authority person who was not even in the store. I had to wait at the service desk waiting for a phone call on what could be done. The employee finally said, NO I saw her take the bag, then that was it. And yes she saw me take the 2 bags, but my shirts were not in them. I live in a small town where Kmart is our only store. But this experience, I will no longer purchase my things here due to the fact that your employees look in your face and tell you that you are lying. I will go to the new Walmart that they opened up 40 minutes away. Very, very disappointed in our Kmart for their lack of authority in the store. Very tacky. false claim about "value your feedback"
Juat two days ago, I spent a few hundred dollars at Kmart. Today I tried to log onto the website that was given at the bottom of my receipt in order to give my "feedback" and be entered in a contest for a $2, 500 giftcard. I was disappointed to see that you have apparently been giving false information about this "feedback" survey. I read several of the postings of other customers, and it appears that you have mislead your customers for several months now.
I shop your store very often, and although I have seen this message on the bottom of my receipts for quite a while, but I never really took the time to respond. I usually choose your store over WalMart, but it angers me to find out that you are misleading your customers.

Awful place
I bought a microwave oven at Kmart 6 months ago, it just stopped working. I got out the book, spent an hour on the phone with Sears/Kmart customer service, got transferred 3 times, and ultimately ended up with "D. J." from Kmart Customer Service. I told him the microwave was 6 months old and I had the box. I told him I did not have the receipt, I said if I take it back to Kmart, will they exchange it for me? He said yes, just take it back and they will exchange it. My car is a long walk from where I live, I lug this huge box back to my car, up to Kmart (Streetsboro, OH) and in to the store, for them to just tell me sorry, we have a 90 day return policy. Then, why after I spent an hour on the phone would the customer service guy tell me to take it there? I never would of gone through all that trouble otherwise! The store manager; Chris was quite a little twerp. Went back home called customer service and all I got was I don't know why he told you that, but you'll have to call the manufacturer (Kenmore, I don't recommend them) and get it serviced! It supposedly had a 1-year warranty when I bought it I can’t believe they won’t exchange it – Microwaves should last longer than 6 months! I don’t want to know where I am going to have to drag this thing next and how long it will take. I am so pissed! I use it everyday. It is almost Christmas, my car needs repairs, I would like to buy my family Christmas presents, and now I have to replace a 6-month-old microwave that had a 1 year warranty?

Scam and lies
Sold me an instock ring, then after paying, 4 days later, told it will be 20 days before shipping, after christmas. then told in stock, was, in stock at the vendor. not in stock at kmart. now told they are resizing the item, as the instock item is not in stock at vendor, vendor has to resize the ring before shipping. all a bunch of lies, just to get my money and lock me in when i cant do something else now.

wrong prices
the web site has a winnie the pooh car seat listed at the price of 18.99 and in the store i am payin 70 dollars when asked why such a big price difference they said a computer era will be fixed 3 weeks later still reads 18.99 when complained again noone has an answer the model number is 024w024260110001

This scam is still going on. It is still being printed on the receipts from K-Mart. There is not such thing as the website for evaluating your shopping experience at the store. Scam Scam Scam!!!
