I cannot pick up my things, and I cannot get any money back
Kmart online layaway is nothing but a joke!! I'm a single mother who has trouble finding a sitter so what better way to do some Christmas shopping than doing it online. Make a few small payments and right before Santa comes go pick up his load. Sounds pretty easy right??? WRONG!! It starts off pretty easy fill your cart, it lets you know what items are available for layaway online. Next enter all of your information and make your initial down payment. A week or so later I go in to make a payment and it would not let me. There was nowhere on the website where I could make a payment. I called 866-562-7848 and the gentleman on the other end told me all online layaway costumers were having trouble making payments and all I needed to do is go to the store and make a payment. A little annoyed but the next day I was out so I made what was supposed to be a quick stop by Kmart to pay my balance and pick up my things since online payments were not being accepted. The associates at store 9161 in Berwick, PA I will say were very friendly and did all they could do to help me. They had trouble finding my information in the computer but did find a box of my merchandise in the back. After 30+ minutes of entering the information from the box into their system it came down to payments need to be made online...AAAHHHHH!!! So I had to leave the store without my daughters Christmas presents. A few days later when I had access to the internet I again call the 866 # and am told "we're sorry ma'am but we are online services only and unfortunately layaway only has an automated line, you'll have to go to the store and make your payment" Kmart does not have a real life person to speak to??? Now I cannot pay anymore money, I cannot pick up my things, and I cannot get any money back!

Re: The survey at www.kmartfeedback.com does exist. All of the compaints are made by people who are using a search engine. The receipt clearly says not to use a search engine, but to type directly into the browser bar. I have taken the survey, it DOES EXIST.

disregard for customers
Hi,
I am writing to let you know my sisters horrible experience with kmart. Today April 27, she went to kmart in Enid Ok. to pick up 12 items. While she was getting rung up the computer crashed. So the cashier rung it up again. She stood their for over 45 minutes waiting for the computer to work. It was extremely hot inside the store, She was sweating. She is disabled and asked the manager for a drink of water4 times. She said she felt like she was going to pass out. The manager said if we get new computers, we won't get any raises. That was uncalled for I think. She is now worried that since the cashier rung up her items twice, and she had to sign twice, that her credit card will be billed twice, and she won't have enough money to cover it. I believe that the manager, should of had some respect for my sister, and everyone else that comes into the store. She said some of her sale items, they charged her regular price, and not the sale price. She spent $82.10. She said she don't think she will go to kmart in the future. Very rude manager. I am writing to you as my sister has no computer.

Embarrasssing
I think it is embarrassing that cashiers at the St. Clairsville store in Ohio are made to walk around with baby diapers pinned to their shirts in support of the March of Dimes. I donate to the March of Dimes and I appreciate that KMart is trying to raise money to help; I just think there could be a better way to raise funds.

always being over charged
I have always shopped at Kmart and besides things not being priced I still shopped there. Now with a loss of income I mostly buy things on sale and add my purchase along the way. The past 3 shopping trips I have looked at my receipt and see certain items have not rung up with the sale price. I have gone back and I do get a refund, always with the cashier having an attitude. Sorry not my mistake, I just want my sale price. I am very upset wondering how many times I have shopped there, have I been over charged. Trust me now I wont leave the store until I check my receipt first. That is if I go back. My 19 digit receipt number is 03800 040510 027 94878 . Donna Lindbergh

Poor customer/cashier service
THE CASHIER WAS VERY NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AT ALL.I said good morning when I approched her register, she replied with a huf.I said thank you and have a good day when I finished my transaction she said yea.I have been a cashier in the retail business for seventeen years and I would never think to behave this way.I think it is very important to make your customers feel welcome with at least a hello and a thank you.It will be a long time before I visit that store again, unfortunately because of a rude cashier.I think your employees should be trained in customer service skills

Bad customer serivce
Tracy was the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. She used profanities in fron of my son and bitched and moaned about having to start checking when she wasn't ready. She made us wait 5 minutes while she argued with her manager John who didn't do anything about it.

My shoes rang up wrong and when I went to customer service and talked to John he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and didn't understand the sign. I told him his own employee told me the price and even went as far as telling me to stock up becuse there such a great deal. He didn't care he just told the employee, "watch what you say to "these" customers". He didn't even give me the price that the sign said or what the employee told the price was.

When I told John about Tracy swearing and waiting for so long and having to hear her gripe rigning up customers he said, "oh sorry about that".. Wow.. never had such horrible service..

NO! website
I had a nice time looking around @ all the sale racks. Good deals everywhere!! BUT... When I got home and went on line to take the survey, there was no such place...I would really think that a company as big as Sears and or Kmart would have there stuff together.. I really could use that $2500 gift card or anything you would give me for filling out your survey. If we the customer take the time to go to your so-called website than you people running this scam should have your shit together..
