Ive been to this kobe before...their food wasn't bad...and everything turned out ok. However, I went a few days ago, and it was different. We ate on the sushi side and ordered other food items- the food that came was really not good at all- it was in fact cold and disgusting...it also had no flavor at all..no salt, sauce- nothing...the waitress took the wrong order and she acted like she couldn't understand what we were saying-- she mistook what we said and just decided to have them put 'less flavor' in the food...when we said less of one ingredient...the food was awful, and the chicken was really hard bland and cold...so we asked for some more meat...they were nice about it- the manager was, and recooked some meat, but the recooked meat wasn't fully cooked...it was half raw inside..almost fully cooked...I ate a little bit of it...several pieces before I noticed, how bad it was...I didn't want to complain because there were people there and it would look bad...complaining several times and didn't want to be rude...but in fact they served raw chicken and I ate half of it without knowing... they remade something else and as well that had no flavor and was really bad and cold...I can't imagine a hibachi restaurant like kobe to serve such bad cold food...the service wasn't that good and the servers didnt care to come refill our drinks either...I've been to many japanese style restaurants and kobes and they are known for their good food- this place however, was the worst I had been to and wont be returning there ever again...to top it all off, later that morning, seemed to have a mild case of food poisoning or some kind of major gastrointestinal upset...possibly because of the chicken...or the bad food...this is not a place to go to or to go with caution as they can have some really bad food and service...and other teppan style places, are not bad like this place...
