My parents paid Kramer & Kaslow to do a loan modification after they got behind on their payments when my father was in the hospital. They had originally attempted to modify on their own and the bank denied them because their paperwork was received 2 days late. Kramer & Kaslow aggressively persued my parents for the 3 payments totalling over $4 thousand dollars and now we only hear from them when we diligently persue an update. It has been over 120 days and we are still being told "its in process". The bank has now sent a threat to forclose and they have called to advise my mother the modification was denied last month. According to Kramer and Kaslow's "processing Center" this is incorrect information. I am requesting a refund but not holding my breath. Don't waste your hard earned money.

my house was schedule to be sold in 24hrs without notice. Kramer & Kaslow has been working on my file, diligently for three and a half months. Although bank of america said that the Recontrust had been told to postpone my sale while my modification was in process, they gave us notice of sale 1 day before that they would not postpone it. within 2 hrs of this notice, Kramer & Kaslow was able to reverse the trustees position and stop the sale. Lenderes and their servicers cannot be relied on to give us factual information. Kramer & Kaslow has keept us in our house and will get us modification since they have done so for two of my friends. It would be great if my lender would just give me my modification without having to hire anyone so i could keep my money, but i believe that if after you hire anyone to help you keep your home and you are still in your home then they have done their job. From what I have researched before retaining Kramer & Kaslow and after, i see a 30 year old law firm with a steelar reputationthat would have not survived the test of time if they were out to dis-service their clients. It seems that the complainer has a hidden agenda
