FRAUD
Unfortunately I didn't read this website or review www.pissedconsumer.com before I ordered the Kymaro body shaper from WWW.UBUYEZ.COM. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! i received the product, didn't care for it so i sent it back. I was only refunded $39.95 of the $80 I paid. I am told that the balance of $ i'm not being refunded is a processing/handling fee. You meant to tell me that it costs $40 to pick a small box off a shelf and ship it? I doubt it. In total this has cost me over $50 because I decided to order something and return it.
THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!
on top of it, there isn't one intelligent person who you can get on the phone to complain to. It will take exactly 10 minutes to reach a live person. When you do they are nasty and unwilling to help. I AM DISGUSTED and will never order anything from these people again. I'll just have to kiss this $50 up to God.

Non-refundable
This company runs a complete sham on refunds. I purchased $69.80 in under garments and when I retuned them, they only refunded me $39.95. Apparently, I had agreed to their non-refundable policy on the other three items. They are running a complete racket, sucking money from people and covering themselves with their "non-refundable" check-box when you order on line. What a complete ripoff! Stay away from these people and maybe we can put them out of business!!!

Refused a Full Refund
We purchased the body shaper (39.95) and 3 accessories (at 9.95 each) for a sub total of 69.80 plus 9.95 S&H for a total of 79.75.
We returned all the merchandise and they refunded only 39.95. They claim the accessories were "free" and thus non-refundable.
At no point is this merchandise shown as free on their web site. They merely stole 29.85 in spite of having all the merchandise back.

when i ordered mine, i was really upset about the shipping fees so i called and complained dozens of times. i was so angry that they were charging processing AND shipping. finally a manager called me back and gave me a free shipping code, so i thought i would come share it with you! if you order online, you just enter it in before you give your credit card information. the code is: SHIPW59NBS go use it for free shipping!

Kymaro Body Shaper
I saw the infomercial and purchased knowing I wasn't going to get a miracle. The product does exactly what it says its going to do. Its comfortable and makes you look slimmer, that's the point. If you're expecting anything else, you're expectations are ridiculous.

My sister and I both bought the Kymaro body shaper and sent the items back for exchanges because they do not fit at all. We both at this point are disgusted by not only the product but the company and its representatives. We both spoke to a rep by the name of Erica at this company and she was condescending, rude, and confrontational as if we were ripping her off and disgusting in telling us both on seperate occasions that they will not be exchanging the product, returning the original product back to us and to add insult to injury our money will not be refunded back to us also. Erica stated that they do not have to "give " us anything product or money and it is stated on their return exchange form we pulled the form up online and this is stated no where on their form. DO NOT buy from this company they are a fraud and their customer service is horrible a big rip off we are both disputing the charges with our card companies they have no right to keep our money or anyone elses.

It's a scam and should be put out of business
What a joke! There's no way a this uncomfortable contraption will go past anyone's hips or thighs if they're larger than her bust. My hips are not that much bigger than my bust and it wouldn't go past my knees. Plus it was very scratchy, far from comfortable.
This company makes their money on the shipping charges and the "free" body shaper that costs a non-refundable $9.95. They deserve a class action suit for false advertising.
As to the woman who's overweight because she eats too much...yes that's why most of us are overweight. I don't believe anyone's disputing that. But as you're aware dieting is not easy, if it was, no one would be over weight. So what's wrong with an overweight person trying to look better in clothes while she diets?

Rip off
The Kymaro Body Shaper is a Rip-off. I will not buy anything from TV Info commercials again. My first clue should have been when they said you have to buy the nude and order to get the black body shaper. If you offer them in both colours you should be able to get whatever you want.
Once I received the Body Shaper and try it on I struggle to get the top on and I am only a size 10. This product is a false advertisement. They did not show this on the TV Commercial. How difficult it was to get on. Once I got it on it was so tight. My stomach hurt for a whole hour after I took it off.
Then I was going to send it back and get a refund. The fine print said I could only get refunded for the top. This is a rip off. If it sounds too good to be true it is. Don't waste your money. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau for false advertisement and bad business practices. I wish I had found these comments before I purchase the merchandise. Never again! Pure deception.

continuing charges
Not only does the body shaper not fit (mine was actually too big) but when I ordered over the phone the woman said I would be sent a phone number with my order that I needed to call within 19 days to stop any charges if the shaper did not fit. Not only was there no phone number in my order, but I didn't even get my shaper until 20 days after placing the order (and I paid for faster delivery!) Somehow I am still being charged 29.95 a month for NOTHING I verbaly agreed to pay for and I have no number to call to cancel! If anyone has this number or had the same happen to them please post it or e-mail me at [email protected] thanks. |
