I purchased a KYOCERA wireless cell phone model #G2Go M2000 around May/June 2009. I had it activated at that time and used it for appoximately 3 months. Circumstances arose where I could no longer afford the luxury of a cell phone, so I removed the battery from the phone and stored both in an ventilated container in the very coolest room of my home. I got on my feet financially this year, so I had my phone service resumed in June 2010. I've had nothing but headaches out of it since. Firstly, it wouldn't hold a charge. The associate at Revol promptly provided me with a new battery. and charged the phone-this was about 7:30 pm. The following day at 9:00 am there was no dial tone nor was the phone charged. I went to a wireless store and purchased a new cord--still no luck. Meanwhile, the protective cover for the jack had fallen off leaving it unprotected...who knows what could have gone wrong with the phone at that point?! The really interesting thing of it all is that I was riding a bus one day and the gentleman across from me had the same model cell phone as I have. When I mentioned this to him he replied "I hope you're having better luck with yours than I am! This damn thing won't hold a charge or everything else!" I told him that I was having similar problems with mine. It was suggested that I take the phone to Revol to have it diagnosed. It was discovered thar there were some copper prongs, wires or whathaveyou that were bent out of shape and that about the only thing that can be done was to purchase a separate charger since the warranty was expired. Can you believe ANOTHER person walked right up after me and had the same issue?! This person opted to buy the additional charger. NOTHING CAN BE THAT MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE...there has to be a problem with the workmanship of this product in general. Three individuals could NOT HAVE all abused this phone. I searched the BBB website and looked up info about this company...although it is not BBB accredited, the site was able to give me the "lowdown" on this comany...they recieved a rating of "F" on a scale of A+ to F...had quite a few complaints against them and some weren't resolved. I have called and tried to reason with two of their associates "Andrew" and "Rick" to no avail. Don't buy anything from this company...if you should encounter problems you'll get nothing but the run-a-round and your feelings hurt...just TRY to reach anyone...you'll just get one recording after another...it's just ridiculous. As an aside:
DON'T EVER USE YOUR BANK RELATED CREDIT/DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE!!! EVER!!! BELIEVE ME, IT'S WORTH THE COST OF ONE OF THOSE PREPAID DEBIT CARDS THAT YOU RELOAD TO USE ONE OF THEM. Let's say you order a product that requires a s&h cost of $9.95...load your prepaid debit card with maybe $11.00 or so FIRST-then use the card to place your order. This guarantees that the company will ONLY get the $9.95 that they said was required and not a penny more! If they try any "funny stuff" they'll be the ones "scammed" because they won't be able to steal a DARN thing! Plus, you won't have to worry about overdraft fees, bounced checks, NFS's or any of those type of headaches. Just call me
crafty...everyone YOU CAN OUTSLICK THE SLICK...TAKE MY ADVICE AND YOU WON'T GET RIPPED OFF AGAIN.
