L&L Location: 1049 Broadway, Ste. 40
comments: Hello, First of all, I'd like to say that my entire family and I are great fans of your food and have been frequenting your restaurants regularly for several years now. Besides the smallness of your restaurant, we never really have any thing to complain about and usually leave happy, full and very satisfied with your cuisine. I am writing because we recently visited your location on 1049 Broadway, Ste. 40 on 2-26-2010. When we arrived, we saw no one at the resister except some young guy with a tank top with numerous tattoos standing elsewhere. We were surprised when we came up to make our orders that the guy with the tank top and tattoos was our server. We ordered several items and found that the brown rice was very soggy, white rice in our meal and spam musibi was very mushy, cabbage, shredded, pork, and katsu chicken over cooked. We noticed that our egg and spam sandwich didn't have an egg and that the spam had black particles from an unclean frying surface, but we were too scared to make a complaint lest the servers retaliate with doing something gross to our food. Needless to say, all we got from our almost $40 meal was a stomach ache and we couldn't eat the rest of our food since it was so gross. This all was bad enough, but the actual eating areas were gross as well. The floors were sticky to walk on, tables were dirty, condiments sticky and tops were crusty, drink area filthy as well. I went to get some water from the fountain drink area only to find the water pink. (We asked for cups for the water and was given some very small 5 oz cups!) This visit was the worst I've had in a very long time, but since I have had numerous years of great food and service for your company, I thought I'd let you know what was going on on this particular location which I will never visit again and have informed all my other friends that are L&L fans as well, not to frequent this location either. Please let the manager know what is going on in this location, or I fear you will get more complaints and possibly turn off some potential first time customers from ever wanting to eat your food again... As from me and our family, it may take a few months for us to eat at L&L. I still get a stomach ache every time I think of your dishes... Sincerely, Ann LeMasters
