Don't buy from them
I bought the new Loreal Visible Lift Foundation and loved it until I got 2/3 through the bottle and the pump top stopped working. Now I cannot access the remaining makeup from the bottle and the cap is not a screw top to it's impossible to get foundation out of the bottle even though there's a lot left. It's a very poor design. I liked the idea of the pump until it stopped working. I won't buy the product again with this top.

Anti-Wrinkle cream Youth Code gave me wrinkles (2-3 weeks use)
I bought the Youth Code cream and eye cream combo pack from Kicks - SollentunaStockholm SWEDEN beginning of November 2010. After applying it according to the instructions, twice a day I noticed wrinkles formed practically over night after the 2nd week of use! These new wrinkles was definitely not there before I started using Youth Code. These wrinkles are now growing deeper everyday. (They look like they are here to stay).
I am very unhappy, being aged 37, anti wrinkle cream looked very promising not threatening!!! The assistant at Kicks told me it is the perfect cream for my age.
I do not know what can take the wrinkles away again?
I tried to find a complaint e-mail address on the Sweden page of L'oreal's website and wrote a letter to [email protected] (had no idea where else so tried that) But had no reply to date! 18 Dec 2010.

Very very unhappy! Hope I can get some help through you? Please let me know if you can assist me in reaching L'Oreal?

The eyeliner is a great product in an impossible format
I recently purchased two products from your HIP line, kohl eyeliner and color presso. The lip color is just a poor product in a very intriguing applicator than doesn't work. The eyeliner is a great product in an impossible format. When using the kohl eyeliner it winds up all over my face as particles fall down my cheeks when I apply the product to my eyes. Also the tip of the eyeliner applicator bent at a right angle when I replaced it in the container and I can't seem to fix it. I felt compeled to complain because you guys aren't exactly giving these products away. The eyeliner was $10.94 as was the lip color, plus tax. So I'm out $22. and change.

I’m shocked at this type of deception
I’d been searching for a (non-mail order) sulfate-free shampoo for a quite sometime when I came across L’Oreal’s EverPure Sulfate-free Color Care System Volume Shampoo at Target.

After only two uses (it NEVER occurred to me the first time that the reaction to a “sulfate-free 100% vegan containing naturally-derived cleansing ingredients with no harsh, color-stripping sulfates or salts” could be the culprit), my skin started to burn and itch; even my feet and shins, where the shampoo dripped and contacted my skin, had big red splotches. At the time of this writing, 5 days after discontinuing use, the itchiness has not abated.

I went online to see if others have had the same results, and not only found countless posts regarding the same symptoms after using the shampoo, but also discovered the following: Additional primary cleansers and foaming agents include sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, which can be an irritant and isn’t considered mild or pure, and disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, which rates as a moderate hazard ingredient because of its potential to carry ethylene oxide and known toxins and carcinogens. Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is even worse, since it actually increases absorption levels, and can be contaminated with nitrosamines. There are also a number of irritating preservatives and fragrance ingredients.

In other words, the EVERPURE line has replaced sulfates with further irritating and toxic substitutes. Therefore, there’s nothing PURE about this product.

As a long time customer of L’Oreal, Garnier, Kiehl’s, Vichy and other subsidiaries of L’Oreal and L’Oreal Paris, I’m shocked at this type of deception. After all, it’s the people who are searching for sulfate-free products who are depending upon the fact that they are indeed free of sulfates or like byproducts.

I will be blogging (HerNashville.com) about my experience, so others aren’t duped by the misrepresentation of your product and wind up experiencing the discomfort I have and continue to have. If you care to respond, I’ll post your reply as well. At the very least, I’d like a refund. Being wary of even handling the offending product, it’s now in the trash.

Bad hair dye
Six months ago I brought the l'oreal hair dye casting creme gloss. It was dark chocolate and semi permanent, and i made sure of this as i did not want a permanent colour. The box indicated the colour would only last UP TO 28 WASHES putting my faith in this i used the hair dye. Its now six months later and my hair is still the same colour i wash my hair three times a week and if you do the maths that adds up to alot more than 28 washes. I seeked the advice of a professional hairdresses to which she informed that the colour was indeed permanent and now must grow out. I am extremely upset at this as i certainly did not want a permanent colour. I now have bad regrowth which I am very annoyed about. I will now urge everyone i know to adviod l'oreal products and i certainly will never use any of their products again.
