I have been using Clariol Natural Instincts hair color user for 10 years until they discontinued my shade of hair color No. 16 spiced tea. So I was in a panic and noticed L'Oreal Healthy Look Light Auburn 6RR. I figured it looked close to my natural color so I'll try it. Did the strand test and no problem. Colored my hair and followed directions (not my first time using hair color) and to my horror ended up going from light auburn to black with a slight purple tinge! The last time this happened to my hair was 15 years ago when a salon tried to use permanent color on my hair! It turned black and they had to bleach it to get the color out! This product says no ammonia lasts through 28 shampoos, I don't think so. Also immediately following this disaster I washed and scrubbed my hair at least 12 times to try and get the color to fade. No way. Extremely upset and will NEVER use this product again!!! Thanks L'oreal Paris.
