My wife and I dined in the lounge section of your restaurant last night. (We have been to your restaurant several times in the past 4 yrs. both for lunch and dinner.) The service was exceptional as usual but the food preparation was a big disappointment.

My wife ordered the spinach ravioli as an appetizer and that was very tasty. But the main courses and the salads left much to be desired. First of all the salads were smothered in raspberry vinaigrette dressing. My wife ordered the crusted tuna prepared medium, it came out raw which the alert waitress noticed and sent it back to be further cooked. The tuna came back only done on one side and still raw on the other side? It was sent back again. ( It probably was our fault but we expected a tuna steak and not sliced tuna). I'm bringing this up because it you send something back don't you make sure you further cook both sides unless the kitchen is in a rush and short staffed?

I ordered the rib eye steak and it came out drenched in sauce and the steak itself was not a good cut of meat, I brought half of it home and later threw it out. My perception of drenching meat or any meal in sauce is to hide the poor quality of the dish. To say the least we were very disappointed and we didn't bring it to anybodies attention to avoid being uncomfortable, probably for our benefit and because the service was exceptional.

We have no problem paying for top quality food and have so many times, when dining out other fine establishment in St. Augustine, Ormond Beach, Palm Beach County and New Smyrna Beach etc. but last nights meal (June 7th) at your establishment was a bitter disappointment and in all honesty the meals appeared to be prepared by a line cook and not a chef.
