Amazing company
I have moved 5 times in my life, and this was my first time using La Rosa Del Monte Exp. and the experience was unbelievable, the estimator came to my house the next day after i called and he gave me a good price, I informed him i needed to move out of my apartment the next day, and he told me no problem, and the next day they came to pack and pick up all my stuff early in the morning. They even held onto my belongings while i tried to find a place here in NY city. Such a great experience i recommend them to everyone, not one item came scratched or missing. Every time i called they were honest and informative. I find it very hard to believe these other reviews are real because compared to the other companies I've used, La Rosa is by far more dependable and professional. I hate when people come onto sites like this one and try to defame such a reputable company as this one, you should be ashamed of yourselves! I work as a lawyer and just watching these reviews they seem false, not one of them state a real move number, for example mine was "MINY-0110-11" these must be people working for a competitor moving company, and that's just disgusting to think of, i don't know what this world has come to but this site should ask everyone for their lot #'s just to prove these unprovable accusational reviews.

Deliberately bad customer service
I chose La Rosa del Monte based on their competitive price and respectable service partners. However, it turned out that their seemingly competitive price was just a way to get customers hooked - their real business model seems to be in tricking customers with inaccurate payment information and then charging extra for the delayed payment.

Furthermore, their customer service representatives are not capable of listening. Trying to explain to them the situation I got really frustrated with their representative who never let me finish a sentence - but instead kept interrupting and talking simultaneously on top. Considering that US is a country where customer service is key to success for any company the complete lack of it is not only annoying for their customers - but also a recipe of disaster for their business in the long term.

Another thing that I am worried about is the status of my furniture when they eventually arrive. The packing crew worked fast, but also packed some items carelessly. When my container finally arrives (let's hope that it does) I will post further information and pictures.

Meanwhile, I advice anyone not to use La Rosa del Monte, as their price will for sure not be what they quote. They will find a reason to increase it - and threaten you, the consumer until you pay the difference. And as per customer service, there is none - which of course means that you the consumer will loose.

I SENT 3 PIECES TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC AND I PAID $ 1, 175. THEY TOOK 3 MONTH TO DELIVER . AND NOW THEY WANT ME TO PAY 565 DOLLARES, I SENT DOOR TO DOOR.

Worst company on earth
Damaged 7 furniture items; then offered to fix some of them. Without saying, the items were not fixed. Now as we embark in the 'insurance claim', this company takes a rude stance instead of one to help their customers.

Indeed, they are they worst company with the worst customer service.

Still waiting for my refund
On the ended of May 2008 I sent from Puerto Rico to Orlando my computer and paid insurance and for delivery for it... In July 2, 2008 I called them and they told me they received it but because they have not route for my area they can't deliver so, I told them I will be pick up the next day and they agree also, they told me that they will be refund the delivery charge and today is 1/07/09 and I still waiting on that refund. Also, I spent more than $500 fixed my computer because the heat damage the mother board and other things and they said the only thing that they cover is if it lost or broken not inside parts or electronics parts. I called NY and Orlando offices several times and they don't care. PLEASE BE AWARE DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE.

Damaged Goods
La Rosa Del Monte is UNPROFESSIONAL company. Don't give them your business. Moving from CT to Florida was a disaster! My furniture arrived 3 weeks late. And some things were broken! I moved to FL. Oct 3, 2008 and I'm still waiting to get a refund check for my damaged goods. If you do decide to go with this company, READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE CONTRACT. This is why I had to reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I suggest anyone that has a problem with this company do so as well.

La Rosa del Monte is an absolutely irresponsible company. They came to my home in Guaynabo, PR, on Oct. 29, 2008 to pack my furniture and personal belongings. I was told that I will receive it in 3 to 4 weeks or at the latest in 5 weeks. 6 weeks has passed and I have nor received my furniture . Every time I call the Orlando Office of La Rosa del Monte they shamelessly lie to me. I have been told that the shipment "just left Orlando", your furnitures left for Texas "yesterday", "wait for the driver to call you", next, on Oct. 4, 2008, they told me that the "truck is on his way to Texas", of course the truck never arrived. Today, Dec. 8, 2008, the telephone operator told me that "probably a truck will depart for Texas the next weekend". All of this were outright lies. It has been impossible for me to receive an answer from a responsible officer of La Rosa del Monte, Orlando FL office. The managers are always having breakfast, lunch or dinner. They must be heavily overweigth and obese for eating all day. I feel I have been ripped off $ 4, 500 that La Rosa del Monte charged me.

Child support income attachment
There seems to be something rather strange going on within this company. I have a court order for child support with my son's father. He is and has been an employee for La Rosa Del Monte for at least the past two years in Philadelphia. His name is Rene Francisco Velasquez.I recently went to Enforcement support court to inquire as to why I wasn't receiving my support although it was being electronically deducted from the defendants pay check weekly. I found out that although this employer was deducting the support payments from his weekly checks, they were keeping themfor themselves. I don't know if this makes any sense or even if anyone else has gone through the same problem with this company I just didn't know who to look to.
