Fraud-Tainted CEO Tim Verbeek of La2day has been battling for survival in the recession period and in order to absolve himself and his firm from financial liabilities has resorted to negative postings on the internet against BPO Canada.

BPO Canada has helped La2day to build La2day from ground up and with a good trust level, have carried on huge receivables for La2day which Tim later on duped on including not paying flight charges to LA.

Tim was having another venture Eurobookings where he was a partner and he needed help. Eurobookings could never have got off the ground without BPO Canada's help and Tim very well knew that. Tim hid the fact that he was a partner in Eurobookings and brought Eurobookings as a new customer to BPO Canada. Tim stated that a Thiland based company did not finish the Eurobookings site in 10 months and they did not pay them 52, 000 USD. BPO Canada Team helped Eurobookings go live in 3 months with 16 people working on the project at 1 point of time. Tim always assured that Eurobookings pays but when the site was deployed, the accesses were removed and outstanding payments of $102K were not cleared.

By this time, BPO Canada withdrew support both from Eurobookings and La2day and at the time of closing La2day had another equity deal worth of $15, 000 services which were performed by BPO Canada on approval from Tim Verbeek.BPO Canada was to get equity in La2day for services performed to upgrade their site from Drupal 4.7 to 5.x which was done - http://la2day5.gloscon.com. When we were in mid of the project I knew I was hustled and cheated and the deal (not surprisingly) was called off and an offer to take on the $15, 000 solution for $5000 was made. This was so typical of Tim. He will make you do work and then turn around and after you do work, he will offer you a fraction to settle the invoice and then do sweet talking of more work. There was a history of this act from Tim and I would warn others who read this including La2day writers that this could very well happen to them too. This is just one tainted guy who will talk big but won't even have a dime to pay up for his bills. He had to borrow money from his brother to pay for some of the invoices.

What I didn't understand is why La2day wouldn't want to pay for services for the work we've done on their approval but after my La2day trip and meeting Tim, I really understood that he is more of a miser, a cheat. Even his best friends at work spoke against him. It was later brought to my attention that Tim was a partner in Eurobookings and he masterminded this entire fraud. I have many email records and phone records of Tim contradicting his statements but it took us a while for us to really understand that he was setting this up.

Upon getting exposed in Public Domain, Tim has resorted to misrepresent facts against BPO Canada. We have always upheld the integrity of our work but with outstanding dues unpaid, we may have to resell the publishing site code to recover our development costs. What I have presented is real evidence of my visit, our work done on La2day site and we will follow with voice records as and when time comes. This is just a response to the negative posts that Tim is making in order to cover his ass and from his misdeeds now exposed.
