Ashley's sales pitch was misleading. I was scammed into buying Labor Law posters, and then I found out I could get them for free online. Six days after the invoice was dated, I spoke with Ashley's supervisor, David. I told him that I wanted to ship the package back, that all the information was misleading. He said to ship it back and he would credit my credit card. Fifteen days after that conversation, David said he would go down to the warehouse to see if it had arrived, and if it had he would issue the credit. For the next five weeks, I have checked my credit card to make sure the credit was there. After these five weeks of checking, still nothing. I called David again. He tried to tell me that he issued a credit two days after the invoice was dated. He even sent me a fax dated two days after the invoice date, showing that my card had been billed. He had typed "Return" at the top and tried to say that it was proof that he had credited the card back. That was the day my card was charged. He then said he was going to call his merchant and have them on the phone with me to discuss this together. I will not be holding my breath for his phone call. How could he credit my card back four days before I told him I wanted to return them?! On the same day my card was charged?! I consider this matter one of theft. He told me to return them, and he would issue my money back. He has his posters, I don't have my money. He has stolen from me.
