Dr. Lam isn't even a real plastic surgeon but he is just an Ear-Nose-Throat doctor with misleading websites. Doing a couple of worships or fellowships is nothing compared to real plastic surgeons who did their full residency in plastic surgery and are TRAINED AS SURGEONS. Know the difference before he leaves you with poor results, inflammation from what may be infection, and short of $$$. Take it from me, the best plastic surgeons in hair transplants are real plastic surgeons and not just an ENT doctor who did a few fellowships. It took a real plastic surgeon to fix Dr. Lam's mess and now I have an improved hairline.

I've permanently lost nervous sensation in different parts of the face thanks to this doctor. I don't know if he severed a nerve or what??? His technique is very bad and there is tremendous side effects that he forgot to mention or just didn't know. "I'm an aritst" is his favourite phrase. Don't make me laugh, I've mentioned his plans to other doctors and they thought his strategies were quite unusual and some laughable. I repeat, he has one of the worst artistic tastes in this business. I've gotten far better results from others and their prices are not comparable to his. Since I signed papers that frees him of all liabilities if things go wrong before I let him did to this me, I'm completely screwed right now and stuck with medical bills. Don't EVER let him touch you, hes lied and a horrendous surgeon with a huge ego. Dr. Samuel Lam needs to be investigated by the Texas Medical Board.

ALL PATIENTS PLEASE LISTEN TO MY WARNING: If there are any patients with negative experiences with him, Dr. Samuel Lam removes them off his website immediately. If you post a postive comment, thats okay for him. If negative, he asks the administrators of those sites to remove them. Dr. Lam runs his business by making videos of his 'happy' testimonials, he posts them all over YouTube (and many other media websites), blogs and they are all under his personal account. Some of these testimonials, which are often supposed to be the best that the doctor has done, don't even look great but some turned out strange and artificial! He keeps raving about his work makes people look natural...sure. To each his own.

Just do not ever trust sites where doctors have the freedom to monitor and filter what patients write. If a patient writes lies about a doctor, thats slander and those comments should be removed. What about honest patients who had negative experiences? If a doctor does work on 1000 patients, posts 100 videos on his site of the better outcomes, and ignores the failed surgeries...is that really an accurate portrayal of his practice? Or even his character? For Dr. Lam, the truth will hurt him far worse than slander. I am PERMANENTLY DISFIGURED thanks to him and I get starred at in public thanks to what happened.

I suggest all potential patients to ask him how patients of negative experiences are kept 'silent.' I don't expect anyone to take my word for it...so its up to you, the patient, to ask him directly. He may lie, he may use euphemisms to downplay the seriousness of his actions, I don't know. Just ask him before getting any work done. I'm not talking about asking what he does with patients who slander, but only about patients who are HONEST but whose results didn't turn out quite right. If you are a potential patient, you have a right to know what Dr. Samuel Lam is up to behind closed doors.
