I purchased a brand new replacement bulb for my DLP television. I made payment in full to them online and received the initial email confirmation stating my order was received, accepted and processing. This was on 1/8/2010. I have made several calls and countless email to them. They never answer their phone and do not respond to email or voicemail I have left asking for a return call.
They took $120 for this order and have not shipped or responded.
I think this company may be bogus and here's why:
When you call their 888 #, a greeting comes on and tells you to hold for the next available agent. Within a minute, the greeting comes back on saying they are busy handling other callers and to visit their website and use email as the best and quickest method to receive an answer. The greeting then says if you would rather leave a voicemail, an agent will get right back to you. The greeting then ends and automatically transfers you to voicemail. You do not even have an option to hold for a live agent. This occurred every time I called.
Today is 21 January 2010 and still no merchandise, no email status, no return call back. This company is a RIP-OFF!
I just noticed at the bottom of one of their web pages they have a Better Business Bureau Reliability Seal. I clicked on it and it took me to the BBB site with a message saying their account was cancelled due to non-payment or other reasons.
I should have checked this before but didn't so PLEASE USE THIS AS YOUR INITIAL WARNING BEFORE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FAKE AND PURPOSELY HAVE LOWER PRICING TO TRY AND GET YOUR MONEY.
