Fraud
On January 26 of 2010, I bought a laptop battery from "laptopz-outlet" through eBay. In two weeks, the battery went bad. He had me go through a ridiculous battery test that took another two weeks before he would give me an RMA number. After this test, which I am convinced was only designed to take time and string me along, I sent the battery back. After another delay of ten days where he said the battery had not returned, he finally admitted that the battery had arrived after proving it to him through USPS records. He then said that the battery had to be sent back to the factory to be "repaired." He would not be specific about how long that would take, saying only that it would take time and was "difficult" to "repair." In response to my numerous emails, he told me that repeatedly over the following months. After another few weeks of waiting, I asked why he could not send another battery and re-stock the "repaired" one. He said he could not do that, but if I wanted to pay an additional $15, he would send me a new battery. I said I would wait for the repaired battery. More time passed and he said the battery was indeed tested bad and he would send it to me when it was "repaired." I waited some more. Now, we were outside the 45 days that I had to complain to eBay. He then said the battery was repaired and I needed to send him $12 for shipping. I told him that was ridiculous and it was his duty to get me a good battery at his expense, and that I had already paid for a battery and shipping. He refused. He then blocked me as a buyer so I could not go back into eBay, buy something else from him and then give him a bad review. He now ignores all emails from me. He has my money and I have no battery. eBay will not help.
