I moved in these apartments 4years ago, since then I have had nothing but problems. I am now asking myself why I have put up with it for so long. My apartment has flooded 8times in 4years, thats right 8. Have I ever gotten new carpet? No, the maintainence crew just comes in and sucks some of the dirty water out and I am always left with a mess to clean up. I have had to throw away several personal belongings due to the damage. If the water isn't coming from under the toilets, it coming through the walls. I believe the black stuff I cant get to come off when I scrub it is possibly mold. My water heater went out and I had to wait 5 months to get a new one. Anytime anyone needed to take a shower I would have to hit the reset button and wait 30-45 minutes for the water to heat up. The office manager informed me that if it wasn't broken completely they couldn't replace it. Now I know warranties can be a pain in the butt at time but come on I pay money to live here. My entire building including myself has complained on several different occasions about roaches, they come through the vents, outlets, light switches and believe it or not they are in my TV now. I think they must sray with sugar water or something. I have myself spent several humdred dollars on pesticides and little things that you plug into the wall and its like they come out and have a party around it. So I had had it and requested to be moved to another building and was told by the office staff that they wouldn't have any available for over 2 months and it would cost me $895 instead of the $750 that I have been paying, then they moved one of the tenants above me to another building. So I called one day and pretended to be a possible future resident and asked if they had any apartments available and guess what? There were 2 available for $859 per month.

What is going on here is what I keep asking myself. I have 5 children and the only income in the household and I cant really save to move or I would have been gone but I do pay my rent on time every single month. In 4yrs I was a day late on my rent one time. I don't understand why or how tenants can be treated like this.I have pictures but not on this computer. However, I'd be more than happy to mail them if I had an address to send it to.
