Bad service
I bought some furniture from Bad Boy Scarborough branch on 2007 worth about $2, 000 and had no problems. I came back the following year for a $600 couch with no problems also. But on October 2009, when I bought some furniture worth abot $5, 000 their service became so terrible that it is not worth it going back to them anymore.

There was spring box backorder and I called the Scarborough branch that out of the so many furniture, they forgot the box spring. Told them that it was a blessing in disguise because I needed a split box spring instead of the regular one. After one week, the delivery guys came back with the regular back spring and not the split one.

Went to the store and followed up with the sales guy with regards to the split box spring. I ended up buying a loveseat worth $800 so they can just deliver them at the same time. The salesguy said that he'd inform me via telephone within 2 days but after 5 days, I did not hear from them and inspite of repeated messages for a return call, nothing, not even from their manager.

I ended up of going to the store and spoke with the manager. Apparently, the salesguy did not enter the additional cost to the split type hence it was held up in delivery. I told the manager that it was not good business practice that the salesguy did not inform me of the added cost. The manager agreed and said that all was even and even gave me a $50 gift certificate.

1 day prior to the promised delivery date, I got a call from their delivery department that I still owed them$171 for the split box spring. I called the store again and spoke with a different manager who was oblivious to the issue since the other manager I dealt with was on his day-off. I just wanted to get through with the deal since the $1, 000 mattres was getting ruined without the split box spring.

Now, I informed the other manager that I was not told of the added cost and the previous manager supposedly wrote it off. Nonetheless, I told him to just deliver all the items just to get over the issues already and will pay the additional $171. I told them that I am not a happy customer and will definitely spread around the bad service. The response of the manager, "I do not care about your threats, all we want is to make you happy." Now was that stupid and ironic on how to make a livid customer. Moreso, the manager does not care.

That is Bad Boy for you, extremely bad service, will not return your phone calls, additional cost to your part without the proper disclosure and you are held hostage since all sales are final.

Thank you for your comments over the last year or so regarding your shopping experience at Lastman’s Bad Boy.

We appreciate our customer patronage and look to respond to some of your comments. As you may be aware, our London and Kitchener stores have just recently celebrated their one-year anniversaries.

During the time of the new store openings in 2007, it was to say the least a very busy time for our company and was also a true learning experience opening two new locations just a few months apart.

Originally, we were a corporation of five stores and had them running smoothly for many years, however, when London and Kitchener opened, we experienced overwhelming success and a huge volume of business which is where we ran into some of our customer issues. We as a company have grown immensely and have learned how to cope with our newfound patronage from you – our customers. At no time do we or did we ever want anyone to leave Lastman’s Bad Boy with an unfortunate dealing. We have learned a lot and continue to improve our standard of business every single day.

In response to the majority of the concerns posted on the board, we note that a large number are very old dealings with us (in a span of well over a year), which coincide with the London and Kitchener openings. To those, we apologize and hope that you will give us a second chance at earning your business.

We appreciate all Lastman’s Bad Boy customers and strive to make you happy in dealing with us. We expect that your future shopping experience with us will be a great one. Professionalism
My husband and I decided to go shopping for new appliances at Bad Boy. We were greeted by some lovely sales people, and then...We were followed into appliances by a blonde woman. We told her we were just looking and wanted to be left alone. She continued to stay right behind us. We repeated our wish to be left alone but apparently she did not listen to us. Not only did she continue to "stalk" us, we could hardly understand what she was trying to say because she was chomping on a wad of bubble gum large enough for three people. It reminded me of a cow chewing on her cud. We were absolutely disgusted. Then let us talk about her clothing. Her skirt was at least eight inches above her knee and she wore huge high heals. My husband insisted that we leave immediately because we were not in the market for what she was selling. Street girls belong downtown, not in a professional work place. It is unforntunate that a company as large as Bad Boy does not have a dress code. The prices were excellent and we would have probably given serious consideration to purchasing our appliances but this woman chased us right out the door with her gum and mini skirt.

Bogus pricing!
They advertise flat screen tv packages with surround sound and wall mounting bracket included. When I tried to purchase one, the sales person fist told me the surround sound was crap and I should upgrade to another product. Then I was told the mounting bracket was an addition 144.00 dollars. The 1598.00 system package without upgrades came to a staggering 2574.00. When I asked how I was told taxes. The entire time the sales person had the flier in her hand and would not explain how she had arrived at this finial price. My wife had a calculator and we showed her 1598.00 plus taxes was only 1805.74, at which she offered a 75.00 dollar discount on her price? Lastman's Bad Boy who honors the advertised package prices "NOBODY" I left and will not return. If you contact Lastman's thru their email to the head office it proclaims a response in 24 hrs. I have been waiting a week and still no reply to my inquiry.
