I had purchased stationery items worth INR 500.00, comprising of several articles and cellotapes. the chart papers and celletapes were of inferior quality and the cellotapes which were for almost Rs.100.00, were all dry. The shopkeeper does not issue a bill for any purchases.
When I visited the store to get my items exchanged, he simply refused to do so and denied that the items were bought from his shop. He insisted on i producing a bill for the items.
Please suggest a procedure for action agaisnt the shopkeeper so that consumers can be prevented from buying inferior quality goods.
