I question whether these guys even used primer on my house. After 1 year, I have cracked and peeling paint. About 85% of the paint on my wood railing peeled off. The scope of work included scraping/sanding any loose paint, priming and 2 coats of paint.

Their contract includes a 4 year guarantee. I notified them in March 2009 and was told the problem would be remedied in early May. When they didn’t show up I was told they were backed up because of the rain. The office manager apologized and said that someone had been out to look at my house in April and that I am on the schedule.

This same person did a complete reversal in July and said they will not honor the 4 year guarantee because they were under new ownership as of March 2009. This person must have suffered from amnesia during my conversations with her in April, May and June because it was never mentioned. They’re lucky I moved out of state because my next call was to my attorney.
