One year ago, December of 2006, I purchased a Lazy Boy Recliner and a Lazy Boy Reclining Sofa. I have called for the last three (3) months to the Lazy Boy Store in Columbia, MD and the Lazy Boy Service Center to come to my home to inspect the recliner as it wearing small holes in the fabric. To date, November, 2007 I cannot get anyone to return my calls, let alone get a representative to look at this problem. I have been promised a phone call from the Lazy Boy Service Center for 3 months and NOTHING!! The recliner is still under warranty. I guess that is why no one is willing to come and look at this problem. I have emailed the corporate headquarters for Lazy Boy and still NOTHING!!
The wear of this recliner is not from use, as I am a widow and live by myself, therefore, one person use of this recliner is certainly not the cause of these holes in the fabric. I really do not know where to turn to next. When I purchased the recliner and reclining sofa, I intentionally bought from a reputable furniture store, so I thought. Not the case, it seems.
