Poor Service and Product
On Saturday 9 April 2011, my family and I went to Game to purchase a LCD TV. We got there and looked at the TV's on display. On display was a Logic 81cm Full HD LCD Flat Screen TV for R2999.00. We opted to purchase that product. The sales consultant assisted me, and I paid for the product. When she had to go and fetch the product from the store room, she informed me that she had made a mistake by not checking available stock before processing the purchase. She informed me that she will go to the back store room to check, but should they not have it, they do have a HiSence, which is not yet on display, that is the same as what we had just paid for. She informed me that they do not have the Logic in stock, and that the HiSence's price is R3299.00 - R300 more than what I had paid. I was not very happy, but said that I will take the Hisence, but will only pay R200.00 extra. She then took me to the floor manager, who said that she needs to phone somebody to find out if they can do the above. They confirmed that it is fine, and that they will give me a voucher for the additional R100.00. They then refunded me the R2999.00, gave me the R100.00 voucher, and then assisted me with the additonal purchase. I paid the additional R200.00. The Sales lady then fetched the machine, and I went home. (bearing in mind, I had my two kids, aged 3 and 15 mnts with me during this time - 2 hrs - over lunch time). When we got home and started to unpack the TV, we noticed that TV was a 80cm and was only HD Ready and NOT full HD. The picture quality is not the same as the Logik, it has a shadow, and is pixalited. This is not what we initially purchased.

I have had 2 Panasonic televisions break within about 5 years
I purchased a Panasonic LCD projection television around 2005 which broke within 2 years. Luckily, I had purchased a protection plan so after a three month struggle I was finally given a replacement TV.
Now the replacement TV (model #PT-52LCX65) is malfunctioning. There is a purple hue affecting the light areas on the screen. I also found other people who are having the same problem, and a repair place that claims this model 's projector engine is malfunctioning. When I approached Panasonic they told me I am responsible for getting it fixed.
I can't justify paying for a repair on an item that keeps breaking. What do I do?

Projector export bait and switch
Ordered a Samsung LN-T5271F 1080p 120HZ online from Projector Export for $1998 which included $249 for fast shipping. "Jack" called me the next morning and said that Samsung doesn't honor the warranty on that TV anymore. He said for $150 more suggested the Samsung LN-T52A550. I asked if it was 120HZ he said yes.
That made the cost $2048. A week later, I still didn't have the TV and then I found out that the 550 series is NOT 120HZ but is only 60HZ and that Samsung DOES indeed honor all warranties. I later refused delivery and now my credit card company is working to get my money back from this "bait and switch" outfit.
