Fraud & Misrepresentation
I'm not going to reiterate everyone else's complaints. Mine are exactly the same! Harrasment, fraud, forgery, misrepresentation the list goes on & on. My question is... has anyone been successful in their fight against Lease Finance Group? does anyone have suggestions on how to deal with them? Are there any class action lawsuits against them???
This is the most disgusting company I have ever dealt with and I plan on expounding such information to anyone who will listen. LFG is the worst representation of a business model there could ever be!
I would appreciate any info anyone has who has been in a similar situation.

Credit Card Fraud
Clayton Guillot from Alabama and Sharon Tan from California are the sales reps lying to people, forging contracts, withholding contracts and are pawns in the game of credit card processing fraud. This is all based on the complaints I have read on complaintboard and credit card rip off.com. I think I will contact the chicago BBB and the state of Illinois States attorney to further investigate these sales reps the company they work for.

Terrible experience
That's a big rip-off. A sales rep talked me into lease of the credit card machine that cost around $400-600, but that lease ended up costing us $6828 for the 60 months and an extra 682.80 for the month to month cost after the lease was finished!!!
The Lease is non-cancellable and sales rep did not tell me real price of that machine, he told me that every one leases those machines and it's a good deal.
It's been five years of paying on this lease and it terminated in Sept. 08, without notice and the payments continued. Today we were told today that the Lease Buy-out amount would be $750.56 or to return the equipment and be charged one more month's rent.
It took more than 3 phone calls with waits over 20 minutes each to get all the information needed to learn how to properly return the equipment.
We are now trying to end this once and for all by returning the equipment that we haven't used in 9 months and is incompatible with any equipment we are using now.

Harrassment
This company is a scam. DO NOT use their product. They refuse to allow contract cancellations via phone, and refuse to acknowledge receipt of letters sent to cancel contracts. The only way to get away from them is to cancel the account from which they are receiving payment. After that, they will harass you at work, at home, and on your cell. Do not bother worrying about your credit score, as they will report you even if you payoff the contract fee before canceling. They sign-up fledgling business owners in a non-negotiable, 4 year contract that is ridiculous and borderline illegal. Please report them to your attorney general and the BBB. They are knowingly ripping off countless people with shady business tacticts.

Unauthorized billing
I was encouraged to sign a 4 year lease for a service that I did not need.
After several months of non use, I tried to get out of the contract and was told that I would have to pay out the lease, purchase the equipment which was comparable to paying out the lease or sublease the equipment to someone else for the remainder of the lease. After which the unit could be returned.
The agent was very rude and unyielding. I explained that my small business was out of business and I had had no sales all of 2008. It made no difference.

Unauthorized billing
They have a way of locking you into a lease and then after, you find out it is non cancellation. My ATM machine was stolen in a burglary, I was told the lease co. has insurance on them, they are now telling me I have to take another machine. In the mean time the are still pulling the lase payment from my account.
A small business gets hurt very bad from this, asked about what if business has to close their doors, they state you still have to make payment.

Equipment stopped working
My “Credit Card equiment” hasn't been used since Fastech DOD closed down in 2004.
The last time I tried to use it, it wouldn't work. When I called my bank, they said the
Equipment was outdated.
I do not believe that I owe this balance and I am disputing your request for payment. If you
have access to my usage records, you will see it was only use a few times until it wouldn't work any more. I do not believe I should have to pay this balance because the equipment stopped working.
I paid monthly for many years on this and I believe that I have paid enough money for shoddy equipment. Probably $1800 for a machine worth $300 at most.

Credit card lease
Hi,
I am looking for any info you may have on a credit card company. I was approached by a sales person from Wholesale Merchant Services in Feb 05. He told me my Hypercom machine was illegal as it printed out the customer card #. I found out later that it only needed to be
reprogrammed. He convinced me to take their machine in its place. Once I had the machine and sent them mine in exchange he then told me I had to agree to a "non-cancelable" lease. I balked and told him I would not. He promised to let me out anytime I requested, so I agreed. When I realized that I had been had by these guys I switched credit card companies. I was charged $800 for this. I'm guessing it was in the fine print. I found that the credit card lease was held by a different company - Lease Finance Group LLC. They refused to sell me the machine or let me out of the lease. This meant paying about 10 times the cost of the machine over the 4 year period. I later had my bank stop the withdrawals and switched to a local bank. They have harassed me constantly ever since. Calling my cell / home / and business non-stop. I am hoping I was not the only dummy to fall for this scheme and am wondering if the Virginia attorney generals office can help me resolve this problem. Any help with this matter would be most appreciated.
Sincerely,
Craig Stewart

Fraud
This young gentleman came in a couple of times trying to lease me credit card machine. After several questions I decided to sign up. I was signing up for a 2 year lease. (or so I thought.) And right away fees started coming out of my business checking that I was not aware of. So I tried to call the young man back to ask questions. Well, He quit. So I started contacting Lease Finance Group. That is when I found out I have a 48 month Lease. What the Heck. I did not sign up for that. They said the only way to get out of the lease would be to pay over $4, 000. I continue to pay the $47.89 every month to keep my credit good. Just today they took money out of my bank account. I never authorized this. I called them and they said it would not happen again. Then, tonight when I got home from work they called me and wanted to know where their money was? I was like, "you already took it out of my account. They are also charging me now an additonal $3.00 a month for insurance incase of fire or something. I asked them why I wasn't being charged that at my business and they said they had proof of insurance, cause I was willing to send them a copy of my homeowners policy, but they didn't want it. They never had proof of me having insurance at my business. THey are getting away with charging me $44.00 extra dollars a year! I am not paying another dime. I have read atleast 50 complaints on this company tonight and I see there are thousands more. How are they still in business. There has got to be something someone can do.

They wrongly tried to debit $600 from our business account
We had a lease for a credit card machine through Lease Finance Group that went from 2000 to 2004. Since we were not closely involved with our business during most of that time we did not realize until June 2007 -of all things- that the lease was up.
We put a stop on the monthly lease debits that were being taken out of our account. We tried 5 times (documented) to deal with this company. They still sent us monthly bills and never sent us a copy of the contract which we told them we needed in order to finalize this matter. We NEVER received anything but irritation whenever we dealt with them.
We stupidly assumed that this issue had been dropped until today April 28th when I received a notice from my bank that they had tried to debit $604.10 from our account. Luckily our bank was aware of them and refused. I am now faced with calling them ONE MORE TIME in the morning to chew someone's *** and threaten them with criminal action (not that it will help).
I hope anyone who possibly sees this will run in the opposite direction if they ever come in contact with this co. They are nothing short in my opinion but unethical and disgusting.
