I have been wearing lee jeans since I was 16 years old I am now 49. In the past two years the material has been ripping around the zipper. My jeans dont wear out they rip and are no longer good so I have to throw them away Just wondering if the material is different. I am so upset about it cause the jeans are not cheap in price but there is no other jean I like to wear. Wondering if I could get some sort of discount next time I go to buy? I bought my usual jeans (Lee Women's Jeans--side elastic)--tried them on at home before washing them--couldn't get them zipped. I compared them to the previous jeans I had bought a couple years ago--the labels explained the problem. My old jeans were made in Mexico with USA made fabric (denim)--the new ones I purchased the fabric was made in Mexico!!! These imbicilic company heads don't give a rip about this country--we can't even buy DENIM -jeans with fabric MADE IN THE USA!!! I am ticked off and will bring them back--they can have them. Our country is being hollowed out because of companies like this!!! I SHALL TAKE THEM BACK TO THE STORE AND TELL THEM WHY I AM DOING THIS!!! Between China and Mexico, we fall further and further into a fifth-world country!!! Judy!! I hope everyone will not accept these jeans or anything else that they notice has changed!!!

I have bought about six pairs of Lee (men's) jeans in the past year, and after a few weeks of wear, every single pair ends up with a hole in the left rear belt loop and some of them also in the back pocket corners. I thought maybe I was just wearing them too much or possibly lifting my pants by the belt loop, so I went ahead and bought a few more pairs. One pair that I bought just yesterday and wore today ended up with the left rear belt loop breaking. I am really upset because I have always worn Lee brand jeans because they fit the best, but their fabric/sewing quality has really gone downhill. I have no other choice than to switch brands.

I've had 8 or 9 pairs of Lee jeans rip out at the crotch area just in the last year. It's gotten to the point im afraid to kneel down to lift anything at work anymore. I will certainly no be purchashing any of thier product in the future. But I have no idea which jean makers still use quality non chinese CRAP for their jeans...

Bought brand new carpenter jeans at JC Penney ($45.00) and after washing 1 time a hole appeared at the top of the left rear pocket and after 2 times the area along the rear pocket ripped vertically 5 to 6 inches when I squatted down.

They are junk...
