Failure to pay invoice
Legacy Builders USA President Jon Paramor renegged on advertising contract, failing to provide adequate notice of cancellation and refusing to make final payment due as agreed. All subsequent attempts to collect have been ignored. Legacy Builders USA/Jon Paramore owes Clanton Communications $6, 060.00

no refund
I signed a check over to Legacy (first mistake, don't EVER sign your money over to any company) for storm restoration. After doing the roof i was disatisfied with the time it took and asked for a refund and I would finish the balance of the scope of work.
Jon Paramore advised me I had about $3700 balance remaining and he would refund it. He did not say that up front but threw up many roadblocks to which i found contrary information so that he finally agreed to refund my balance.
The refund never happened and i can't get any answer on any phone or at any of their offices. Someone named Jeff on this complaint board claims to be the GM of the office in Jacksonville but they don't have an office there. He is a crook in bed with Legacy is the only thing i can think of. They apparantly monitor this complaint board because the last time i submitted a post, Jon Paramore responded with in 30 minutes very indignant that i would smear his reputation by posting as i did and threatened to draw me into litigation he had started on others on this site. I told him i would be glad to re-post and sing their praises after i got my refund but the refund never came. Jon rescheduled and rescheduled, then just dropped out of sight.
Legacy Builders USA are storm chasers, thiefs and con men that deserve to reside in jail somewhere...and will reside there if my attorney's suceed.

Theifs!!!
I contracted Legacy Builders USA to repair my home on 2 claims filed with my insurance company. 1 was in regards to the hurricaine (replacement of my roof and other interior work) and 2 was due to a waterleak (to repair my kitchen). My insurance company made a check out to myself and my husband and the mortgage company for 9944.33 for repairs for the roof and interior damages forthe hurricane repairs only. Legacy requested that i sign the entire check to them and the remainder would be used on the second claim repairs. I did so. Legacy and i signed a contract stating that my roof repairs would be 7500.00 and the remainder 2444.33 would go to the second claim on my kitchen repairs. The roof was replaced. Upon completion I decided I did not want Legacy to repair my kitchen because one of their representatives came to my mothers home to tellme that i would not see that money, they were going out of bussiness, and they they were price gauging their customers and over qouting the insurance companys to make a larger pprofit than they were allowed to by law (and no contract was signed for repairs on the kitchen- the second insurance claim). I have since contacted the President of the company- Jon Paramore, with little response back that the refund of the remainder is needed because I would not being using their services on the second claim repairs. Phone calls and emails have been sent by myself and my husband, with little response and no such refund made. My emails are not being responded to and our phone calls have not been returned.
I have reportedthem to several agenciesincluding the bbb, trcc, attorney generals office, the ftc, the humble chamber, and my lawyer!

Roofing Ripoffs
This company is worst company on the planet. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INSURANCE MONEY. They have this ploy where they tell you to "sign a contingency contract" and that they will go get your money for you. You sign a contract NOT for a dollar amount, but for what they call "RCV". That means that every penny of your insurance money goes to them and you have absolutely no say as to where the money is spent or how. The reason why is because they also tell you that there will be "little or no money out of pocket". All the salespeople are trained to do this because clients let their guard down thinking they won't have to pay for the work at the end. NOT TRUE. Once the work is done they can legally put a lien on your home if you don't pay them everything that the insurance has alloted for the job PLUS 100% of your deductible. Don't get screwed. A word to the wise is sufficient.
