I have also been a victim of terrorizing and bullying by the crooks at United Investigations. At first, I was very hesitatant about returning their call because I could not think of anything illegal that I could possibly be accused of doing. Then, after repeated and insistent calls, I called them back. When I pushed for information as to what the name of the supposed company was that I had criminally violated, I got nothing but an evasion to the answers I was seeking. Then, the man on the other end proceed to scream at me with a most abusive and non-professional manner, to say the least, and I knew something was ary! Then in order to stall to investigate the facts on my own when I got home later, I negotiated a "payment plan" in agreement to settle the debt I supposedly owed this unknown loan company. The man asked for my debit card number; I of course refused to give it to him and I also told him that I would make my first payment when I got paid from my job next Friday. (Yeah, right!) I knew something was fishy when at the time I finally decided to call them back, and the answering machine said "Please try again later..." even in the middle of the day and usual business hours. SOME PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS OFFICE, HUH? The thing that really worries me, is they have the last 4 digist of my social security number, as well as my home address and my place of employment. What can I do to protect myself from any further abuse, threats, or even physical aftions from these villians? Please someone help! I would be extremely greatful for any advice as to what to do next. I am willing to send these SOB's to jail if possible, and I'll do whatever it takes to help the authorities get a case against them and prosecute them. We'll see how they feel when the police or legal agencies are knocking on THEIR door and ARRESTING THEM!
