I received a call from 1-888-827-7901, I was told I was speaking with a police officer or some kind of law enforcer then, John Mathew came on the phone and the call was regarding a legal matter. The call was in regards to a payday loan I had not paid from US Cash Advantage that was taken out in 2008. LISTEN I would no if I took this loan out or not so I asked for him to email or fax me some information. He said they already had and that we could settle this account or he would see me in court I asked for proof of this loan he stated, the only way I could obtain any documents was for them to send to my attorney and asked for my attorney's name. I told him I did not have one and I would check in to this matter. If I owe $ I will pay. I hung up and called the 1888 number back “John Mathew” did not answer someone handed him the phone and he said don’t call him any more. But this harassment has to stop! The people I spoke with have thick accent/dialect and would not provide me with enough information to check the validity of this debt. - I plan on disregarding this call UNLESS they can provide information in writing that I can verify from my end. This is really ridiculous I'm being harassed with what seems to be a scam.
