Leverage Connection sent me an information package by mail that said they can lower my credit card interest rates for $995, I called them and said I don't want to lower my rates I just want to put all my 7 credit card balances onto one card, they promised they will get me approved for a credit card so I can transfer all my balances over to one card.

They were very nice on the phone then when I said okay to their promise and I gave them my credit card info.

(By the way why would a company that is trying to help me get rid of my credit card debt take payments only through credit card?).

When I called them up that I was already charged $995 by my credit card but have not heard from them yet the girl that picked up the phone, Alex, was real nasty. First she knocked down the phone, then when I called back she said that their company lowered my rates by 5% and I saved $5000. I checked all my credit cards but not one of them were lowered. and I don't have that much debt that 5% would save me $5000.

When I called again Alex told me I have to speak to Selena that does bookkeeping, but Selena is at their sister office and she is out for lunch now, she will call me back in 10 minutes

Of course nobody ever called me back and every time I would call they would either knock down the phone or put me on hold forever.
