Why is it that all the blue jean companies think that women don't need real blue jeans for real work? Everything in the women's section is for all those fashionista's scared to break a phoney ph-ingernail. I'm ashamed to say that even the all-american brand, Levi's, no longer make any real jeans for real women who work hard for a living.

Cheap light-weight materials, stupid light-colored twill strings running thru the material, pockets cut off 2" below the opening, ugly worn-look, cuts that make women look like their a sausage stuffed into a casing that's hanging out at the waist, no stitch-sealed seams, etc. I don't want to look like a cheap tramp when I'm trying to do a hard day's work in the field.

The only real jeans made are in the men's or boys department. Women do hard work. We deserve a pair fo jean made as well as men's jeans. Equal jeans for equal work.

I had bought Levis Redloop Jeans for rs 5100 from Levis Showroom in Khan Market. It's approximately 6 months, and the Jeans has been torn off thrice. First time it got torn off in a Salsa class when I had to just bend my knee a little, it was really embarassing. There were other girls and boys wearing Jeans and nobody encountered such problem. It was only me. And the Jeans was not even tight, It was a little on the lose side. I got it mended (rafu) as I was not aware that I culd complain for that. In the same Salsa class, the Jeans was torn again. I again got it repaired.
Third time I was just bent to pick something from the floor and the Jeans was torn again. I never encountered such problem with any clothing of mine in my entire life.
The cloth has just given up in just 6 months and that too a 5100 indian rupees Levis Redloop Jeans.
Can I be refunded my money back in this case?

I have purchased 3 pair of levi jeans and all 3 pair the belt loops have broke. The price of the jeans was 39.99 a piece and now when i wear them I have to put belt on and tuck the broke one under my belt. I will not be buying and more of these jeans and I will be sure to tell all my friends and family to stay away from them. I work to hard for my money to buy something that want stay together but a couple of months.

I want to bring to your notice a situation that I could not expect from a comapny like Levi's Strauss. I purchased a black color jean from Levi's

showroom, Shipra Mall, Ghaziabad. Its article no. is 517. This jean was tagged at Rs. 1600 and i purchased it in sale in July-August 07. I have the bill

with me. I purchased this jean at 50 % off at Rs.800. I wore that jean rarely and washed it for the first time in December. I was in my hometown on

holidays. On first wash, this jean lost a lot of colour though my mom followed all the norms which were specified for washing and drying. Now that

jean looks decades old, lost its colour from back side and near the pockets and a pale faded (white) color has emerged. Its looking very odd as already

the jeans is washed pattern near the thighs.

When I went to NOIDA again in January, I went to the same shop and put to his notice the condition of the jean. At first he refused to take

the complain and gave the reason that this jean was purchased in sale and no claim can be put on sale purchased items. After my friends and me argued

for 15 mins, he kept the jean and told us that a representative of Levi's comes every week and he'll show that jean to that person. When we went to him

the next week, he told us that the representative has refused that this claim can't be considered as it is sale purchase. He also agrred that my jeans was a

old article and it was lying in his showroom from a pretty long time. He also suggested us never to buy anything from sale in future.

As all of us have been wearing Levi's from a pretty long time, we didnt believe him also keeping in mind the brand reputation of Levi's. But ya all of us

decided not to buy anything from the showroom in the future.Recently, when I came to my hometown again I visited the new Levis showroom in

Udaipur and I showed him the jeans. He told me that his is a signature collection showroom, so he couldn't entertain my complain. He advised me to

write to you. Now please tell me that what I can do or may be I'll have to wear that ugly jeans carrying just the tag of Levi's.

I have been using LEVIS products for the last three years and never had a chance to complain. But recently I purchased a LEVIS shirt from Company's retail outlet at MGF Metropolitan Mall at Gurgaon (Haryana) India. The stuff was defective and started losing color even before the first wash. The shirt was produced at the above outlet for claim. The shirt was retained by the outlet and after two - three visits I was informed by the outlet that the shirt was forwarded to the company for the claim but the claim was rejected by the Company without assigning any reason. I visited the LEVIS site but was unable to find their E-Mail ID. I would be obliged if you could help me in the matter.
