I ordered Levolor 54" aluminum blinds through Home Depot February 2010. The arrived dented. The problem was obvious to me, that the headrail was heavy and there was no packing material to protect the first few slats. It pushed against the cording, which left impressions ie, dents down the slats. There was no packing to protect the slats from denting by the hook where the wand gets attached. To date, there have been (four) re-makes on my order and the results have been the same - damaged. I even contacted their Customer Service Department Supervisor and he assured me they would ship it by air and pack it differently. I guessed I was just "yessed" and we'll leave it at that. On the forth and last attempt, Home Depot made contact with Levolor and explained, once again, that additional packing material had to be added to avoid damage in transport. Well, after waiting for my re-make one month, I received the blinds. Of course, they were damaged. In fact, they were packed even more inferiorly, loose in the box. I am so done. Their promises are empty. Levolor has no concern with wasting resources, particularly mine. Time: all the trips to return damages, phone calls, cost of running my car, the one-month manufacture time in between each order (four months total time waiting), not to mention the aggravation. Eight months later, I've given up hope.
