On 19.03.2011 a Complaint was lodged with Shetye Sales Syndicate, Mapusa in respect of Non Working of our LG Air Conditioner.
That after a couple of days a technician from LG Porvorim Service Station checked the Air Conditioner unit and told us that compressor is damaged and it has to be replaced with the new one and the cost is around 8, 000/- which was agreed for.
Thereafter Adv. Vijeta Poulekar, the Colleague from my office was in touch LG Service Centre, Porvorim. She was in touch with one Ms. Sarika and Mr. Joaquim. Several calls and SMS’ were sent to Mr. Joaquim but there was no response. Either he would not take the call or disconnect the line.
In the last week of May technicians came to my office from Porvorim Service Centre, but since they could not remove the compressor unit, they assured that they will come next day to do it. However they did not turn up the next day. My office colleague Ms. Vijeta Poulekar tried to contact Mr. Joaquim who again failed to respond immediately. Subsequently we had to arrange for cutting of the bolts in order to have the unit removed.
After a couple of days a technician came and fitted the spare compressor unit and took the original compressor unit for repair. They were supposed to fix the original compressor unit on 28.05.11, however they did not come.
When Ms. V. Poulekar contacted Mr. Joaquim, he informed us that they will come on Monday and again they did not turn up. Several calls were made by Ms. V. Poulekar to Ms. Sarika and a messages were also sent to know when the technicians will come. However they did not reply back.
On 30.05.11 Ms. V. Poulekar received the call saying that technicians will not come today and that they will come tomorrow to fix the compressor unit.
There has been tremendous delay in servicing of the compressor unit and the response of the Porvorim Service Centre was very poor. There has been more than 2 months delay in the servicing of the compressor unit and fixing of it. That I have been highly disappointed with your after sale service.
