Non Receipt of Free gift DTH
I had purchase 32" LCD TV on 27 Aug 2009 from Next store from Vastrapur Ahmedabad- India. They offered DTH as free gift and asked me to send the required document along with DD of Rs, 99/- to Spectramind at Noida. I had send all the required document along with DD of rs. 99/- and confirmed from there that they have received on 2 sept 2009 and confirmed that we will dispatached the item within 15 days. Now since 3 months i am trying and getting no respones from the company. I had wasted lot of time and money in making lot of calls.

No replacement of Refrigerator since product failed within 10 days
This is to bring your kind notice that i have purchased LG REF 260 Ltrs (MODEL 278VA5 model (Red colour with flowers) from Kohinoor Tele Video shoppee Andheri west, mummbai on dated 26.9.2009 & which has been delivered on 27.9.09 at 9.30pm . It has been promised by the dealer that your brand will not give troble to the customers as you have been awarded a quality & services excellence award .

But sorry to say that within a week your product has failed on both the grounds ( quality as well as service) as on dated 7th cooling of the fridge stopped so on dated 8.10.09 we have lodge the complaint with lg service centre (Complaint no. CO9A0801548) & on the same date your engineer also check the fridge & told us that their is problem with the wiring & same can not be repaired so it has been recommanded to replace the Fridge.

The same complaint also been given to our dealer ( Kohinoor Tele Video) & we have been assured that the new fridge will be deliver to us before diwali as the model is also available.

But unfortunately today while enquring the status of delivery of the model we have been informed that the model is not available & status will be given tomorrow. I am fail to understand that is this the quality of service & customer delight & satisfaction talking by your MD Mr. MOON B SHIN .

And is this the service level for which you have received the "COMMITTED TO SERVICE AWARD".

I am once again requesting you to please take immidiate action for replacing my fridge & let meknow the deliver status . And if its not possible to deliver the same on urgent basis please give me your higher authorities mail id or contact no. ( please don't blame on me if my mail reaches to your MD ) as i will not take lightly if my fridge is not delivered on urgent basis as already 7 days are passed & still action is awaited from your end. Further please note Tomorrow DIWALI'S first day.

LCD TV problem
I had purchased one LG LCD TV on 27.05.2009. With in a month of purchase it developed some fault and I logged in with LG customer care and the Service Engineer who inspected the TV told us some components have bursted and offered to service the TV.

But I did not agree for servicing. Only replacement of the TV is acceptable to me as the fault occurred due to manufacturing defect. But so far no response from LG.

Scam and cheating
I have purchased a LG Microwave, after 1 yr. 2 months the the front membrane (skicker) starts malfunctioning, I report it to the service center they said that we will replace this part, I left my microwave there on 28/07/08 (job no.521) after 20 days they said the company is not providing us the right part, so you wait for some time and returned my product with some temporary arrangements and said that now only the start switch will work. Today it is over 1 month my microwave is lying is with me and now the the heating is also stopped.

Fault not attended
Our microwave oven stopped working and complaint was registered on 16-08-08. Next day technician Mr Solomon Raj came and without checking the power supply declared that pcb is faulty. He scratched the PCB and applied applied solder. He went back without repairing the microwave and without giving any feedback. My complaint no. is82302578 reg. at tel no 39010909. Thereafter I am contacting above no. daily but nobody has visited to address the complaint. Nobody is providing contact no. of senior official of LG India.

Very bad Service
I bought a LG i-sensor waching machine HS8014, more than one month back. Till now its kept as it is as the response from the LG India has been very bad.
First of all, the machine was delivered 7days after purchase and was told that LG delayed the delivery. Then, when the machine arrived, it had scratches on the front panel and broken lid, I was told that we can mention this on delivery slip and LG people will contact. That happened, but after that at least 4 persons have come to see the machine without any results.
On calling LG customer service we have been given many complaint numbers and many names and numbers of their personnel in Bangalore (Symonds, Mansoor, Rajesh C etc.)but nothing is done. In first place, these persons don't pickup the phone and if they pickup they promise to do the needful, and never communicate back.

It has been a month and around 30-40 calls, still machine cannot be used, making it a classical example of bad customer service, in the times when other companies are moving towards customer delight. Even LG people don't want to communicate anything.

This incident has only reaffirmed that the LG service still remains bad as was, 10 years back, but came in the words of the salesman this time.

Terrible Service
Hi,
I gave my microwave for repair to LG service centre in Noida little over couple of weeks back with problem: whenever power goes down and comes back, the microwave will either start right away or after few hours.
They said they are going to call me with problem and estimate in 24 hrs. I had to call them up twice in two weeks and after around 10-12 days I got a response that Microwave is ready (no problem/estimate call in betweens) and a part (PCB) worth some 1070 Rs. was replaced (of course with full ONE MONTH warranty) and some 200Rs. labor charges (To put a PCB? anyways) and some tax so overall charging 1250Rs. and two weeks of microwave-less life.
Wow!! I was so glad and happy to see a glass of water which was heated in front of me at the service centre. So I brought it back home just to find out that once I put the tray with roller in the microwave and put anything to heat it doesn't heat up (1250 Rs. for heating a glass of water??? that too not for me???)
So I had to take it back the very next day, again assuring me a problem/estimate call in 24 hrs. Today I had to call them up after 3 days to figure out that the microwave is ready with new Magnetron (Wow!!) as the old one was not working so they replaced it (without bothering to call me for problem/estimate) for just 700Rs.
So tomorrow I'm going to get that Microwave back (Now worth 2000Rs more) with my fingers crossed and hoping things work out this time. It's been loooooong I've cooked anything on it. And as I had become so lazy due to it, past several days had been really really hard for me :-(
Best of luck buying a LG (life's good with LG or maybe life's gone with LG)

Customer harassment!
This is to inform you about your pathetic Services for attending a service call for the monitor purchased just 5 days back which was 2nd LG monitor within 10 days for the same customer at Ulhasnagar. The call was made on 23/08/2007 at 8:15 am to the toll free number 18601809999 and the complaint number was obtained 82300012. and the assurance was given that it will be attended within 24 hours. but till today the complaint has not been attended i.e. 27/08/2007 time 11:30 AM. In the meantime i had call n number of times to the call center as well as JD Electronics at thane and spoke to many people namely Mr. Pankaj at JD, Mr. Darshan, Mr. Kurlappa Rao, Mr. Vaihav and still in the process to get the complaint attended. As informed this is the 2nd LG monitor gone bad in 10 days and due to that the computer system is returned as no one attended the call from your end. I am very sorry to say that such kind of useless co-ordination and service was not expected from a brand name like LG. and will definitely take care in future to avoid buying such products and make others to follow the same. Pls give me clarification on why the complaint was not attended in the due course and why these senior people are not held responsible for the losses i have to bear due to your service center negligence. I am expecting a reply in this regard as well as the number for the higher authority. This matter will be soon published in all the existing IT Magazine's for your information. Pls don't treat this as an threat. But i will see to that nobody else will suffer from such harassment and pain. The copy of the mail has been sent to TAIT also. Thanks Satish.

Poor service!
Today is Aug 6th and there is nobody willing to answer anything about this.
My wife Sangita Jain has made a complaint # A2300058 on 23 Aug 07 for
Fully Automatic LG Washing Machine Front Loading Model WD-10160F.

She has been repeatedly calling every day at the LG Service Center # 39010909 since 23rd and every time they say they have lodged an email request to the concerned service center. On requesting to talk to a senior, they put the call on hold everytime and then disconnected.

On 26th a service personnel visited and inspected the machine and advised that some parts needs replacement. He advised that he will return the next day with the parts. Nothing happened thereafter.

The service center employees express their helplessness and tell us that other than making an email request, they cannot do anything. It is almost a week and I don't have any answer from LG and neither is LG caring to answer. I have a lot of LG applianaces in our house - 6 AC/s , 3 Refrigerators, Washing Machine etc. etc. and this is really no way to treat a loyal customer.

I do expect service and will not tolerate this anymore. If LG does not care to take care of this complaint immediately, I will be forced to take steps which may not in the interest of LG. I hope somebody in LG wakes up and learns how to provide some customer service.

Till this moment beware people!

Poor service!
I have LG Window Air conditioner. We have purchased smee in April 2004. Now the compressor needs to be replaced as its not working. ( This problem was told to us by the technician from COMFORT POINT- LG's authorized service center.

For replacement of this compressor we need a duplicate bill copy from Vijay Sales Borivali. But the response from them is pathetic. In fact I have purchased all home appliances from Vijay sales Borivali. The people at Borivali needs training on how to speak with customers. I had spoken with MUKESH from Vijay Sales who was very rude and arrogant.

I am continuously following up for the duplicate bill for nearly last 10 days but there is no response from them. Secondly I have registered an on line complaint with LG --- as usual no response.

Kindly advise to whom I should complain further for the same smb!
