manufacturing defect
Respected Sir,
I named G Satyanarayana Gupta from Andhra Pradesh, India purchased LG LCD TV 26" (MOdel No 28LD340ATR & Set Serial No - 008LPVC004183) at vishakaptanam on 17 Nov 2010 from Sowndarya Digital Mall, Ram Nagar, Vishakapatnam.
The TV has got problem on his picture probe. We have given complaint to the LG service centre on 12 May 11 and the TV has been handover to LG Service Centreat Vishakapatnam (Digital Eye Service Centre) on 13 May 2011 vide our job sheet No 3499 dated 13 May 11.
The TV has not been repaired till date and not received any message or update from the serivce centre. The TV is in with in warranty period. So you are requested to please exchange this piece.

My LG LCD TV model -42LF20FR serial No - 912LFPKW008477 not power on. Location -Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India. Pls repair it in warantee pds.

Userviceable
I had purchased LG LCD TV, Model No 42LF20FR, Serial No 001LPFJ000835 with date of purchase 17 Mar 2010 from M/S Raj Electronics, Main Bazar, Udhampur (J & K). The LCD TV is unserviceable from 01 Jun 2010. I had already complained to the dealer on 03 Mar 2010. The TV is not yet repaired till date. I had contacted the dealer today who seems to be waiting for spares and has informed that he will only be able to repair when the spares are available. I request for urgent necessary action for its replacement as it is for the welfare of troops please.

DTH OFFER
I have sent claim form on 14.09.09 to Spectramind Marketing Pvt. Ltd. for free installation of Airtel DTH Set up box as offered while purchasing 26' LG LCD TV. My form no. is 329333. But till today, I have'nt got any feedback or services. It appears to be clear cut case of cheating. Mind that you are unpopularising your products through such fraud. Plz do the needful at the earliest

insurance claim
i brought a tv from comet, 3 and a half years ago with a 5 year extended warrety, which over a month ago whe had to make a claim for accidential damage, within a few days they sent someone out, they came then they had to order the part about a week later they come back with the part, but did not fit, so he said he had to go back and order another, so after another well over a week. which as business working days, myself and my partner had to phone them constantly to find out what was going on, they keep blaming it on different departments, and then they would say someone will phone you in 48 hours still no phone call, or even letters, so we rang again, go passed about then said the service centre was closed, so someone will phone at 10 am a certain day, still no phone call had to phone back yet again, then was told there was no information from the enigeer, then 2 hours later manager phones back and they just sent it to service centre, by which it is now going into 4 weeks, and now they are saying they are writing it off, and and that a letter was sent to us on the 8th of september. but still no letter even to todays 24th of september and today they are saying it as not been with them as long as we are saying we feel that we are just being passed about, feel that nothing is gonna come of this, and feel that this is are only to express are feeling and help other people to not make the same mistake as use, by buying extended warrety and buying the tv in the first places from them. as in it is miss sold extended product. we have sent a complaint letter over a week and a half and they say they still have not got it even up to today.

AIRTEL DISH TV IS NOT GIVEN YET
SIR, I HAVE PURCHASE AN LCD TV OF LG COMPANY FORM GEETANJALI ELECTRONICS, BEGUM BRIGE, MEERUT, UTTAR PRADESH ON 27 AUG 2009.
They give us coupon of AIRTEL DISH TV and tell us that i sent it LG OFFICE with a demand draft of Rs99/-
only .I have sent sent it on 1.aug.2009 by speed post.
but till now i am not getting an information about it.
so please help us and send to us this as soon as possible.

False advertising and horrendous service
I went to Game at Westgate mall in Gauteng on 16 December 2008. I intended buying a few major applicance from there and I first went to purchase a television set. There was an LCD full HD tv advertised for R 12 999.00. About three tvs down the line an advertising borad with the same specs advertised the tv for R9 999.00. I asked te salesman helping me which tv was that as that was the one I wanted. He looked at the board advertising the price and quickly removed the board. H ethen told me it was an advertising error, that was not the LCD but the plasma tv. I informed him that I was entailed to the price advertised and that was what I wanted, he agreed by law that was what I was entitled to but went to call the manager. He then came back and told me that due to the errror the manager was willing to give me the set at R 11 500.00, told him I wanted the advertised price and could he please call the manager. A merchadise manager by the name of IaN sLATER then came through. He looked at me in a dismissive manner, went to the salemen, took the board adertising the tv for R 9 999.00 from him, came over to me, in an abrupt manner said his name was Ian Slaater, inocrrectly misrepresented himself as the store manager, just told me that the price was human error and he was retracting it and walked away. I asked the salesperson waht happended to the price offer of R 11 500. He went back to phone mr slater and I was told it was no longer on offer.
On wednesday, I phoned a lady by hte name of Rina to complain I requested an oppology from Mr slater for his manneer as I belived his treatment towards me was because I was a black customer, she said she would investigate the matter and getback to me, A few hours later Mr ian Slater called, he said regarding the tv, he could now give it to me at R11 970, ( the third price on same tv set). I then asked him if that was the only reason he was calling he said yes, I asked him if he did not think he needed to oppologise, he said if I thought he had to oppologise he would and that he treats everyone that way. I requested a call from the store manager which he said he wouald ask him to call, the matter seemed to die a natural death with Game there.
