I bought a 3D LG LED 47 inch last month and it stopped working just after 10 min of delivery. Then I called up the call center and after providing them all my details, they finally logged my call. Then after 2-3 days one person came to see the problem and reported back the defect. TV was replaced after 2-3 more days. TV is now working fine however the service i got from LG was not up to the mark at all. LG sells high end television however they don't have any person to provide you the demo of the advance version of the TV. They claim so many things while selling the TV however they don't tell you that for each and every advance feature, you need to pay extra money from your pocket.
Couple of days back, surprisingly I got a call from Region Sale Manager asking my permission to visit my home with the MD as they consider me as a high value customer. I gave the permission and thought I would provide all the good and bad points to the MD. Myself and my family waited till 7:30 PM and when I called up, the Manager told me that they will not come as their MD is not well. However he didn't bother to tell me in advance (now not considering me as a High Value Customer). This is really frustrating as a customer and now onwards, I have decided not to buy anything from LG not because of their product but just because of their pathetic and bad customer handling service.
