It is absolutely pathetic that entire line of service people is
irresponsible and incompetent.

I hope some Gentleman sitting in South Korea may read this mail and
provide a workable solution.
I find LIFEs GOOD for Sellers of LG products and Miserable for users
of LG products.

I had purchased LG mobile (LG GW 550) on 27/5/2010 bearing IMEI no.
357249030020715 had started facing problems with three weeks of
purchase.

I visited customer service centre M/s Beekay Enterprise, vashi
bearing centre code: INO1957IMUB00005 and
Receipt no: R-170610042

I was provided with some reasons expressing inability of service
centre to provide free replacement of battery.
Then I made a complaint to LG service centre (by email) and a senior
person agreed to resolve the issue (Mr. Prasad: 9320002042) but only
verbal assurances till date.

I relodged a complaint online(no. 090810101611 on Aug 9) no response till date.

The problem is now extremely serious:
Battery drains, applications dont work, key pad does not respond, mic
and speaker are dead (neither able to hear the voice of caller nor
vice versa);
mobile is as good as piece of stone in my pocket.

I am using 20% of feature of this mobile and am 90% dissatisfied with
product as well as poor services & irressponsiveness to service
request.

I only see one solution take my mobile and refund money back

This is to inform you that I Sri Kamalendu Kumar Behera of Baripada is an old customer of Reliance India Mobile (RIM). I have been using your handset since last 4 years.Firstly I was a Prepaid customer but now I am using a postpaid connection. And the Number is 09338353990.

I have been using a LG-2230 model handset since last 2 years. But recently I faced a trouble. A call came to me and I answered the call. When I disconnected the call the handset went in to Hang state. I switched off the phone and after some minutes when I switched on the phone again it displayed me an error message "defheap_free: FreeDefHeap.C 123" I could not understand why did it happen. Even I can't make out what's the original problem.

I went to Baripada Reliance Web World and told them my problem. But they didn't respond me well. They suggested me to go to an authorized LG Service Center. So I went to an authorized LG Service Center, Bhubaneswar. They checked my handset and in no time they told me that "the handset can't be repaired". I felt very disheartened and find no better way than to write to you. Because I feel that it is just a software problem and I believe that "Man made Machine" and there must be a definite solution for my handset.

The handset is in very good condition and it can be used for some more years. Therefore, I request you to kindly consider my case seriously and give me some positive solution as soon as possible in order to fix that problem.
