Never, Ever buy LG. We purchased over $7, 000 worth of LG products after we
redid our entire kitchen. The dishwasher leaked for a year. After numerous complaints, 3 service calls (all Lg referred companies - and the one came took the door off of the dishwasher and never came back) they finally replaced it.
But, our brand new wood floor is warped because of the continuous leaking. The microwave glass in the front door has fallen inside the door. The dryer needs a new drum, and the washing machine has been serviced twice. None of these things will be fixed because the one year warranty had run out. THe products are barely three years old. No one has replied to my 6 emails, 3 letters and numerous phone calls. They do NOT stand behind their products and they
obviously have the "you bought it - were done with you" attitude.

complaint no c09a0823536,no response despite complaints
I purchased LG refrigerator 350 ltrs in april 2009.we are facing problemof fresh veg getting bad, ice in frost free section. I had lodged atleast five complaints of no use.
I was very honest customer of LG but now my thinking has changed and decided not to buy any LG product, also recomended same to my friends.

I have a reliance Netconnect connection. I am using LC800 Model device of Lg. When connecting it to internet alter 2 min the computer will crash heo to Dump failure and restarts. So it will be a serious error for my Laptop. Pls identify and rectify it.

Not attending complaint
I 'm having some problem in my fridge. A pungent smell is coming inside it and it is also making some some sounds, when it is plugged in. I've lodged a complaint on 19th september in the morning at 7:45 am to the customer care service.The person said that the engineer would attend it within 24 hours. The local person contacted me at 10 am and repeated the same. but as usual nobody comes, When i contacted the local dealer nobody was picking up the phone.For 5 times I tailked to the customer care person and at last in the evening at 7.00 the local one said that due to ID none of the engineers are available, only one is here but he has gone to Shakti nagar. Again I contacted the customer care and the person give the number of the Head of customer care Uttar Pradesh but the person already left the office and the mobile is switched off . My fridge is under Warranty period and I'm facing such troubles to get it repaired. I've not the idea that the after sales service of LG company is so bad.

LG KS360
Everyone gets to the stage where they wish to purchase a new phone, Unfortunately I purchased the LG KS360, It looks pretty neat, it has a QWERTY keyboard and a minimal touch screen feature when typing in phone numbers. I purchased the phone for $200AUD or $160US and after about 4 days I noticed the phone would turn off by itself nearly every 5 hours, until I eventually discovered it turned itself off whilst calling people, Texting and opening audio files.
I called LG's head office in Sydney and was told to send it to my place of purchase where it would be sent to LG's Technicians for repair.
After about 3 weeks I received the phone from repair where the battery was replaced, and the software had been updated. 2 days later the phone turned itself of again and the problem had re-occur-ed. I sent the phone back to LG and after a 4 week wait it was returned, "repaired"
The service details quote the following

"Replaced faulty flex cable, Software reinstalled to the latest version, cleaned & realigned contacts, all ok and normal"

5 days later, The phone died, doing the same thing but alot worse, anything I tried to do with the phone caused the handset to switch itself off. LG Refused to return any of my calls and I am still in the dispute, waiting for my refund for faulty goods.

Poor Equipment
What in the world is wrong with LG ? I have had a malfunctioning dishwasher and washing machine ever since I bought them!

Nobody can fix these awful appliances... the company needs to stop ripping people off by selling them. Sears should be ashamed of itself for distributing these terrible items.

Do NoT Buy LG products!

not giving service properly
i have brought a 32 inchs LG television 16/8/09 back, And i was told that u will be given a demo from the company.no one turned up, so, i called the call center plenty of times but they are telling me when we be free we will send some one .. and they have offered DTH and DVD player, but till now no DTH is provided .. they have also deposited /Rs 100 for subsription and the behaviour of local dealer is very roude. dealer is V.S. Enterprises Bhagat Singh Road Muzaffarnagar

BAD SERVICE
DEAR SIR,

I AM A CANADIEN CITIZEN WHO RECENTLY MOVED TO KARACHI, PAKISTAN. I NEEDED SOME ELECTRONIC ITEMS SUCH AS TELEVISION AND DVD PLAYER, SO I WENT TO THE LOCAL MARKET IN SADDAR (REGAL) TO MAKE THIS PUCHASE. ON THE DATE OF 04/AUGUST/2009 I PURCHASED TWO LG 37' FLAT SCREAN LCD TELEVIONS WITH TIME MACHIENE, ONE LG DVD PLAYER AND A HOME THEATER SYSTEM FROM THE STORE OF WHICH DETAILS ARE MENTIONED BELOW IN RED. THE TOTAL BILL CAME TO PAK RUPEES 150, 000.00, I PAID IN ADVANCE THE FULL AMOUNT BY CROSSED CHECK.

AFTER DELIVERY THERE WERE FEW PROBLEMS. THE MINOR PROBLEMS WERE FIXED BY THE DELIVERY MEN. THE MAJOR PROBLEM WAS THAT ONCE THE HOME THEATER SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED THERE WERE HORISONTAL LINES APPEARING ON THE TELEVISION. THE DELIVERY MEN TRIED TO FIX IT, WHEN IT DIDN'T WORK THE OWNER OF THE STORE TOLD ME " THESE LINES ARE NORMAL, I HAVE SOLD HUNDREDS OF THESE SYSTEMS AND WHEN EVER WE INSTALL THEM THESE LINES ALWAYS COME, DON''T WORRY ABOUT IT (NO JOKE, HE REALLY SAID THIS). I OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T AGREE WITH HIM AND INSISTED FOR HIM TO FIX THE PROBLEM. HE THEN SAID THAT IF I WERE TO BUY A MORE EXPENSIVE HOME THEATER SYSTEM THEN THE LINES WOULD NOT APPEAR, I AGREED. HE TOOK BACK THE SOUND SYSTEM AND SENT ANOTHER ONE AND I PAID HIM THE DIFFERANCE OF PAK RUPEES 18, 000.00. WHEN THIS SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED AGAIN THE LINES APPEARED!!! THEN THE DELIVERY MEN LOOKED MORE CLOSELY AND FOUND OUT THAT ONE OF THE CABLES THEY WERE USING WAS NOT IN GOOD CONDITION.. THEY CHANGED THE CABLE AND THE LINES DISAPPEARED!!!

AFTER THIS PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED THERE WERE THREE MORE PENDING ISSUES:

1) THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME WARRANTY CARDS.

2) TO REPLACE THE BROKEN CABLE THEY USED THE CABLE FROM THE OTHER TELEVISION, SO THEY SHOULD GIVE ME ANOTHER CABLE TO PUT IN THE OTHER TELEVISION.

3) THE TIME MACHIEN IN ONE OF THE TELEVISIONS WAS NOT WORKING, THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED IT.

ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS NOW THAT THESE JOBS ARE PENDING. I CALL THEM 5 TO 10 TIMES A DAY! WHEN I CALL THEM THEY DON'T ANSWER, WHEN I CALL THEM FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER THEY PICK UP THEN HANG UP. WHEN I GO TO THE SHOP THEY SAY THAT WE WILL CALL YOU BUT THEN THEY NEVER CALL. THEY HAVE ALL THE MONEY AND NOW I AM NOT SURE AS TO WHAT I CAN DO.

rusty fridge
My fridge is rusting thru from what I feel was improper preping of the steel before paintingh. I found out there is no one in my service area to look at this. 2 1/2 years ago when I purchased the refrigerator we also purchased a microwave and dishwasher. One week ago we bought lg washer and dryer steam top of the line. The only majoe appliance not lg is our range. Since speaking to Lewis and his manager Carla who basicly said they will do nothing about this since it is out of warranty. I feel that no appliance should rust at 2 1/2 years with no damage causing this. You'll be hearing from me more as I advertise your product. My friends, family and anyone that wants to listen on the net will be a more informed shopper.
