Quality very poor
Do NOT buy LG appliances! Period. We bought high end LG stainless steel dishwasher and microwave. Both died within 6 months and TransGlobal (the company that repairs LG in Canada) has terrible service. The motor went in our dishwasher and we waited 4 weeks to have it replaced (it was only 6 months old). It's still not cleaning the dishes in the upper rack. The microwave died a few weeks later - power supply went. LG's quality is terrible. Don't even consider buying LG.

AFTER SALES SERVICE OF A.C.
i have bought LG 2 ton split A.C. there has been problem with the compressor and LG after sales service executive advised for change of compressor on warranty and i was assured of replacement in two days on the basis that compressors are readily available with them but it has been 8 days since i have been waiting for the same. I feel companies make all tall claims only to sell their products and they don't know what strength word of mouth has in the next purchase.

Horrible service. LG should be blacklisted. They'll treat you like donkeys when you ask for service.

LG Sucks & Lies
I purchased an LG RH4810W DVD Recorder a few years back and soon discovered that the 80GB hard drive that it came with was too small for my needs. I contacted LG and inquired if a larger hard drive could be installed. LG stated "No, a larger hard drive can not be installed." Out of curiosity I decided to install a 200GB drive I had spare and to my surprise it was immediately detected and functioned properly. Seems like LG will say whatever they need to say to convince you to buy another product rather than upgrade your existing gear.
I have since purchased another LG DVD Recorder (SD Tuner) and straight out of the box the tuner was faulty. I took it to their authorized repair outlet in my area where they replaced the entire inside (circuit board) of the unit. When I got the unit home I plugged it in and the same problem existed.
The 69cm TV I purchased at the same time also turned out to be faulty. The screen has 2 massive dull spots where next to no colour appears, the image vibrates from side to side and on the left side of the screen the picture is compressed. This unit is also in the repair outlet. I pay $1000 and I can't even use the darn things.
Both items are currently in shop being serviced.
Needless to say I WON'T be purchasing any LG products EVER AGAIN.

Sir,
For about two months whenever I recharge my RIM with Rs. 201/- the amount is being deducted speedily although I use mobile oftenly. Kindly check whether any facilty has been activated. If so, kindly deactivate all the facilities or the ringtone, if any, downloaded in my mobile. I want to limit my mobile only for incoming and outgoing calls. Pl. do it immediately.

Poor service
My complaint:Its my LG intelloair 1.5 ton AC which was bought april 2007.in month of March 2008, i had display problem in my AC remote.I reported to the authorised dealer for LG service.Its been more than a month now and i dint get back my remote. They always give a answer that they out of stock for the model. This is a highly unacceptance answer from a leading company.I am completely frustrated with the product.u wont beleive me, i referred 4 people to buy the same product last year. i feel guily now coz of LG.I called a LG customer care no.(given by the service engineer) which was never answered even once.I beleive Customer care no. is something where people should be attending the calls(here it goes to missed call.ridiculous!!!)that no. is 044-25531470(and not sure whether this is really a CC no.)
My question: Its good to see that you are asking for the feedback, but are you people really going through these complaints and taking necessary actions??

ICE MAKER
ICE MAKER STOPPED WORKING RIGHT AFTER THE WARRANTY` ENDED, THE TRAY FILLS UP WITH WATER, AND OVER FLOWS AND I HAVE WATER WHICH TURNS TO ICE ALL OVER THE FREEZER, LIKE A WATER FALL~ THE TRAY HAS A LINE RUNNING UNDERNEATH, WHICH IS THE PROBLEM, ITS NOT TIGHT ANY MORE, AND THE TRAY WILL NOT STAY STRAIGHT, DUMPING THE WATER OVER BOARD, FOR SUCH A EXPENSIICE REFRIG, WHAT A CRAP CHEAP PIECE OF WORK, FOR A ICE MAKER

Non-availibility of Bills
I never get my bills on time i.e. if they come sometime they come after the due date of payment or most of the times i've to visit the local office everytime to enquire about my bills.
I'm fed up with this kind of service & won't be able to continue this connection for long ( if the problem persists).

I will never purchase another LG product
I paid $325 for an LG RC199H dvd/vhs player and recorder at Best Buy. The dvd player worked properly for 2 months. I called LG over 20 times trying to get them to back up their product. They are a Korean company that sells absolute junk. I purchased my son an LG dvd player in Los Angeles at the same time I got mine. His worked about 4 months and it also will not play dvds now. I will never purchase another LG product. I do not know why they are allowed to sell their junk in the US.
