LG Refrigerator
Stay away from LG. We bought 4 stainless steel appliances. I have been in contact with them over 30 times to repair the frige. I have owned it 8 months and still no resolution. Their customer service is terrible.

delay in service
i have complained regarding my LG refrigerator 10 days back. i bought it on 28 /08/2009. within a week after installation, it became faulty. after repeated complaints, nobody bothered to turn up and solve the problem. if this the service you are providing, i have to think twice before buying any LG product hereafter.

defective product
This is my second submission and second complaint. The LG refridgerator we ordered from #1 appliance quit working after 3 days. So, now we have a stove that arrived damaged on 9/8 and still is awaiting pickup so we can get a refund, AND a refridgerator that cost over $2000 that doesn't cool and we lost all the food we had in the freezer. #1 said "take it up with LG, and LG has no service center near us so we are still awaiting for them to find an appliance tech to fix the problem. Do not ever buy from this company. They take your money immediately upon ordering, but do not deliver for a month, then it looks like more months if returns are done. If they do this to 100 people and make interest for 1 month off all their orders...that spells fraud!

LG French Door Refrigerator
We purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator 13 months ago and it has been a headache since day one. We have never had a fully functioning ice maker. The ice maker in the door first would not dispense ice or water. I had the repair man come out who was contracted by LG. He found the auger motor on the ice maker was not working. He ordered a new one it came after 10 days and when he went to install it found that it was not the right part. We went another 10 days and the new part came in and was installed. It finally worked but was always slow and hard to use. We now have no ice maker at all it seems after waiting a week for a repairman that the motor on the ice maker itself is now dead. In the meantime LG had to send someone out because they had a part not performing correctly for energy savings reported to the government. We now have to wait at least another 10 days for the new part for the refrigerator. LG does not care about service for their customers as proved over the past year and all the issues of sending wrong parts and taking forever to send them. I would never buy another LG appliance or any other product. I want a good product with decent fast service if needed this is certainly not the case with anything LG.

Not working
I have bought 320 litre LG fridge from e-zone & hv been facing following problem since day#1.
1) Moisture settling on the top chiller roof
2) Water droplets on the bottom portion of chiller door, which settles on insulation rims of top door, corroding the light switch and lending dark tan colour to that portion due to corrosion
3) Failure of fridge relay thrice & all of sudden start after more than 12 hours
4)Spoiling of icecream, milk, cheese, dry fruits, kept in top and bottom portion - nothing remains refrigerated and everywhere you will fins moisture settling
5)Light functions on will
6) Door frame fixture is bend

The new fridge appears like second hand with so many faults.
Pl replace this piece on urgent basis.
I cannot accept such poor workmanship when I hv paid the full price to E-zone. LG India too is requested to arrange for replacement of my fridge on immediate basis.

Freezer sensor breaks and incapacitates fridge
My LG refrigerator purchased in May 2007, model#LRFD22850 began having problems with the freezer sensor one month after my 1yr warranty ran out. After many attempts and hours on the phone with LG- and them telling me all the things I must be doing wrong in operating my fridge- they agreed to pay for the repair. Even after that the freezer has never worked properly and has continually iced over. We had to disconnect the water line as the ice tray froze solid and now one year after the initial repair the part is broken again and the fridge is unusable until fixed. LG told me that it was my problem since I did not purchase an extended warranty. I asked them why I should have to pay to warranty a 2000.00 appliance in the first year of use!!! As I scan the internet, I have tried to make some sense of us as consumers allowing the appliance industry to become so incompetent and deliver such poor quality and service. Although LG seems to one of the worst offenders, there are thousands of complaints against many different brands, and the more expensive, the more the problems. Why have we allowed this to happen??!!!

SERVICE COMPLAINTS
REQUEST WAS REGISTERED ON 6TH MAY'08 AT 0915HRS FOR PROBLEN IN OUR REFRIGERATOR. ITS MORE THAN 24HRS NO BODY HAS VISITED THE HOUSE TO LOOK AT OUR REQUEST NO 50600649 TILL THE TME OF SENDING THIS MAIL. IF THIS IS THE SERVICE THAN GOD WILL ONLY HELP LG COMPANY.

LG Customer Service is not available
I bought a refrigerator from VIVEKS Indiranagar 100 ft road,
since then i am coplaining LG customer care and Viveks about the refrigerator but no body turned up, after number of time shouting on LG nobody turned up, can some body help me how to

LG sucks
I have 200 litres LG intello cool fridge bought 6 months back from Dass electronics, pune. 5 days back it stopped working, no cooling and no compressor sound. I got the service after 3 days on 15th March. The serviceman detected that compressor is shot and came again with a new compressor on 17th March. The so called new compressor was not sealed packed and when asked, he said, He broke the packed seal for testing the compressor. He went ahead and replaced the compressor, which got shot again in 2 minutes. Now the question is "Was the compressor really new?" OR "Are LG compressors so bad that they stop working in within such a short time". I am really pissed of with the LG product and the service. I have been living in this hot summer without fridge for more than 5 days now and that too guest at my house.

To all of you out there, Beware of LG products...

Double Door refrigerator Lower portion Not Cooling/Moisture/Smell
