To whom it may concern;
On 3rd of April, I bought an LG X130 netbook from Bimeks, one of the largest consumer electronics store in Turkey. Soon after the purchase computer started crashing. This e-mail is written because I've tried through all possible legal applications and believe that LG Turkey and Bimeks will not be able to help me solve my issue any more. For this, I request the attention of LG International.
Please let me summarise the issue:
On 3rd of April, I bought the computer. First setup was done in the store by the technicial staff. In the following two weeks I had several times of computer crash, reboot and blue screen. Then I decided to restore the system with the software that was provided by the netbook. As soon as the restoration completed, the computer started crashing and giving the blue screen again (Even there wasn't any new sowtware and hardware installed on the computer).
On April 19, I returned the computer to the Bimeks store. They made a quick check on the computer and tried to send me back saying that the computer has no problem. After insisting that the computer is not working properly, I managed to convince them to send the product to LG Turkey technical service. I called the store on the phone to check the status of my product and learned that it was still waiting in the store for the last two weeks!! After several calls I learned that LG Turkey received the computer on 5th of May!!
Technical service of LG Turkey stated that the issue was due to software problems and installed a clean version of Windows and sent back the computer. The day I received the computer I started experiencing the same issues again like the blue screen and crashing. I immediately called Bimeks store but they disrespectfully said that it has been over one month since the purchase and they can't provide support anymore (Although most of this time was wasted in the technical service) and that we should send the product to LG by ourselves, showing unwillingness to provide any help and lack of customer care.
I immediately contacted LG Turkey but they were also unwilling to provide any help but asked to send the product back to technical service. After five days of testing they sent the product back stating that there is no problem with the device. I talked to Mr. Huseyin, Mr. Turan from LG Turkey for several times but couldn't get a result. They even blamed me for lying and trying to deceive to get a new computer. But they also said that they installed a different image of Windows installation other than the one that was in the computer's harddisk. All the problems arose as soon as the computer returned from the technical service.
Please explain to me why would I try to deceive them when all I am asking for is a proper working computer? Why would I waste my one and a half month arguing with people with a brand new computer?
I am extremely unhappy with the way Bimeks and LG Turkey treat their customers. They were extremely unpolite after my second request for the technical service and did not show any attention to solve my problem or ensure my customer satisfaction. Their ability to communicate with the customers was way below my expectations from an LG employee. I beleive that LG International will try its best to ensure my customer satisfaction and trust in the LG brand again.
