REFUND/SCAM
This country electronically deducted $29.91 out of my checking account without me even being aware of it. I first contacted this firm on 1/13 (although they state it was 1/16), but I have the time and name of each individual I have spoken with. Each time I get a different story. I continue to call, but I have yet to receive my refund in my checking account. Companies-- such as this -- should be put out of business for good.

Unauthorized money taken
Liberty Discount Club took money from my acct. without authorization on my part. I would like a refund. How do I go about that? Called the # and they said would send me an email with cancelling #'s and then go to www.libertyclubrefund.com. Got sick of waiting for an email that never came so I came here without the #'s I apparently need. Please just help me get the refund back into my acct.

taking money out of my account without authorization
This company went into my account and withdrew $29.91 and I called and complained about it. All they could do about it was refer me to a website to request a refund. Apparently they have a problem with this if they have to have a whole website to take complaints.

Unauthorized Withdrawl
Last month I noticed a withdrawl from my checking account for $29.91. The bank told me the charge was from Liberty Discount Club. After some amount of research I finally found the website for this company, including a phone number. I talked with someone from Liberty and they told me that the $29.91 was a origination charge for a loan through their company. I hadn't taken a loan out from anyone, let alone a company I had never heard of. I was told to go to the website libertyclubrefund.com. I wentto the site and started filinf out the information, when I cam across a cancellation confirmation number field. I had not been given one during my conversation with the rep from Liberty. So I clicked the chat option and was directed to a chat screen. I asked for the number I needed to complete the form. The rep was less then friendly, and was reluctant to give the number to me, instead tried talking me into yet another one of their "deals". After some time of doing nothing but saying no, I don't wasnt that, no I don't want this, I don't want anything else from your company, etc. I was given a number. SoI finished filling out the refund form and submited it. The page says it caould take up to 72 hours to complete the refund. So. I waited, and assuming it would be taken care of, kind of forgot about the whole issue. That is until the other day. I went to the bank and the teller informed me that the $29.91 had not been credited yet. I immediatly tried calling the number I had used two weeks prior. All that happens is it says if you would like to leave a message please do so at the beep. I left a messagethere. I went to the main website libertydiscountclub.com. I found another phone number there, and upon calling it, found ot to be the exact same message as the first number. I tried the chat option, I was never able to connect with anyone. I have no idea what I should do from here, or where I should turn. I amnot going to just give up and let them take my money like that. I really think that's what this company is banking on. If they make it difficult enough to get your money back, you will soon give up, and not bother. NO WAY!! Does anyone have any idea on where to go from here?

Illegal Withdrawl of Money
they took 29.91 out of my account and tried telling me it was me that did it, when it wasn't. I never signed up for any of this and they're repeatedly trying to tell me that I did. I filled out their stupid refund form and checked the status, provided them with more information. They said because all of my information matches the information given to them when they were authorized to charge my account it wasn't fraudulent. Well, I'm sorry, but that's part of it being fraudulent, the information is going to match. I'm currently trying to get it sorted out with the bank. They refuse to give me my money back. I don't know what else I can do at this point

Unknown Charges
A charge showed on my bank statement and I called the number on the bank statement with the name of the Payee...the customer service representive was very nice when I told him that I had no knowledge that a membership fee was to be charged for this club. He said that he would be happy to cancel the membership but I would need to go their website to fill out the refund forms to request a refund. I did. I filled out the forms completely with the membership number given me with the email confirmation sent to me confirming my membership which never mentioned a fee would be charged. That was on December 30th.. I still have not received a refund. I went to the website today, Jan. 13th. and I am redirected because there is no such website. I found myself at this site --- Complaints Board and at the LibertyClubRefund.com site I saw comments from other poor suckers just like me that got ripped off exactly the same way. WHAT CAN BE DONE TO STOP CONARTICE LIKE THIS...ARE WE JUST TO STAND BACK AND LET THEM TAKE OUR MONEY AND GET AWAY WITH IT? IS THERE NOTHING WE CAN DO? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE US AN ANSWER. Sincerely.

Withdrawal of funds without my knowledge
The sum of $29.91 was taken out of my savings account without my knowledge by a company I've never heard of and don't even know what this company does! I found out from my bank that Liberty Club discount had all information of me they needed to acquire this"membership fee" they're calling this. My bank gave me they're name and number and strongly suggested I contacted them to get to the bottom of this situation. When I tried calling them at the number that was provided, I reached an automated message that "this number is temporarily unavailable"!
I wonder why!! After logging on to Liberty Club site, I managed to retrieve another number, so I called that, spoke to an operator who informed me that they had received my request for cancellation and that no further "deductions" would be made against my account but did give me a website in which to check the status of my requested refund. When i tried to check the status of my refund, I was not able to get any information.
