I applied for a payday loan through LAST CHANCE PAYDAY and in their terms and conditions it lists a third party withdrawal of $49.98 from Liberty Discount Club. I declined those conditions and did not take the loan but that didn't stop Liberty Discount Club from taking my money. I have spoke with them every day since 12/2/2010 and first I was told just fill out a request for a refund. I did. Then I was told there was another form to fill out, so I did. I was then told allow 24-48 hrs for the refund. I did. No refund. Then I was told my refund was denied. I threatened with the BBB, filing a complaint with my bank for fraud, and contacting the police. They now are making an exception. However, I have yet to be to the police department but I have done the others. BBB is looking into it and my bank is also. I was told by my bank it would take 10 days to get the money back. Please file complaints if you had the same experience, it is the only way to put companies like this out of business.

I checked my checking account this morning and two online checks were made without my authorization. One was for $49.98 the other was for $24.95. I just bought a car and had the insurance set to come out today now they cant take the insurance out because you took money out that wasnt supposed to come out . I am over drawn a significant amount of money because of this. The money needs to be put back in my account as soon as possible. The cancellation conformation number is 5894892.

I too have fallen prey to these scam artist. I applied for a pay day loan and my information was apparently shared with these people. There was no disclaimer and no authorization given for these scam artist to access my account. They fraudulently took $49.98 out of my account. Although I was given a cancellation number (58340841) there was no guarentee that I would get my refund within the alloted 72 hours. My next move you ask? Very simple. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a formal complaint. Of course this company was already listed. Imagine that! My advise to everyone is that you do the same. Enough complaints about these scammers and maybe with the help of the BBB we can run these fools out of business. I want my money Liberty! I served time for my country and I know how to fight! I have no plans to go away. Heed my warning!! You messed with the wrong serviceman.

Was notified on Dec. 1, 2010 by my bank that there was some unusal transactions being taken out of my account. They gave me a number to call and it was called liberty discount. Had no idea what this company was. They inform me that i filled out information wanting there services but I did not. They recieved my information from an online payday site i was on. They took out in October 49.98 and then again in November 18.78. I did not authorize this, and i did not fill out an online application from them. I ask for my money back but they refused. I would really like my money back.

I like the rest of you have majically signed up with this company without my knowledge. I paid $49.98 for ID Theft Protection- rather ironic. I was also in a tight finacial situation. My bank account is now overdrawn by 268.00 and counting. I have applied for a refund-plus fees- 16 times in the past 3 days. I hope to get my money back through incesent nagging. I have spoke to 8 live people, live chatted with 4 people and been to 4 differnt sites. All of the people I have talked to have informed me that I have have been sent some sort of "confermation" e-mail. No one has givin me the same date and I have never seen it. By the looks of it I am not alone. Someone out there will have a Happy Holliday on us.
