False Advertising
Ordered my wedding dress no special tailor, a standard size 4, on June 7, 2011. Before ordering my dress I read all the processing information--dress will be received in approx. three weeks and longer for special tailoring. Two weeks later I checked on the status of the dress online and was shocked to read "shipping dress July 15". The wedding is July 16 and the dress is not shipped. Obviously I would not receive the dress in time for the wedding, so every day I contacted them and received the same response "sorry for your anxiety we will do our best..." No verbal contact at all. I demanded a full refund and was denied. Their response was "suggest you try to sell the dress or wear it for a different occasion." I am so upset...this has been the worse experience I have ever encountered shopping online and I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I just did with this vendor. I learned a very important lesson---do not shop from a business in China---buy American!

very bad customer service
i purchsaed a pair of shoes for my wedding. They were extremely big and has such a obvious fold at the top of the shoe due to size. I contact CS via ticket/eamil. They ae giving such a hard time. They want me to take a picture with tape on my foot and then with my foot in the shoe to verify the size does not fit. This process seems so ridiculous in that I could ask anyone I know to take these pictures. I am so dissapointed in this company and would have never ordered from them had I known they were not located in the U.S. They take advantage of the American consumers. I am still awaiting to hear from them. By the way, I sent nearly 14 pictures. They now saying they are too small and blurry. They can see the fold at the top of the shoe which should safice. Still awaiting. Next, im contacting better, business bereau.I will keep you updated on my status. So far, STAY FAR AWAY!!!

regarding ordered wedding items
I recently ordered wedding items. The website stated the delivery time is 3-5 business days. Therefore, I felt great it will work. I.ordered 4 -5 items, my veil, barter, guest book and wedding shoes. I went.online to check the status.which.states th shipment date.is July 15.I get.andries July 3rd so that WONT WORK. I cannot find ticket link and it is nearly impossible to contact them. Im not sure what would.make them thinkbits.ok to send.my items 2 months.later. They took the money
out.my account immediately. I was going.to.order from them in the.future, im not sure id do that now.My order number is 1105250001571226 in case they want to perform a damage control response. Next, im contacting better business b

no reaction from service center
I ordered a tablet from ligthinthebox which arrived with scratches on the screen and a battery life of ten minutes. I sent it back but they claimed that it never arrived. After trying to get evidence of having sent it I tried several times to contact them but there was no reaction. I really feel ripped off, having paid the money for the item, the VAT, having received a defect item and now no reaction which seems to mean that I have lost all the money invested - not speaking of an upset wife for whom the item was bought in the first place.

customer service/poor quality
(WARNING) I ordered a bridesmaids dress for a wedding and the dress was terrible. The color was a bright red instead of burgundy and the material was cheap, it was unraveling right out of the box. I contacted their customer service and got a response which was very useless. The customer service placed (time conditions) which served their purpose of giving me the run around. I gave up and had to settle for a different dress which cost me more money. If you order from lightinthebox don't expect anything but disappointment from their product to their so-called customer service.

night dress
After 1 month waiting for my delivery i just had the visit of the UPS employee, asking for an additional payment of 107 Eur due to custom taxes

it is absolutely inconceivable as all shipping fee were added to this order, this is a really poor service, and the worst on line service ever

BAD EXPERIENCE
I have recently had a very frustrating experience with Lighinthebox. They don't care about customer service and they are really not helpful at all. I had to ship some wedding gift items to my wedding planner but their system had selected my address to ship to. I emailed them and told them I need the address changed because that is not the address i specified I want my items shipped to. They replied and said that because the payment was not done yet, they cannot make any changes; they also told me that I can make changes after the payment is confirmed; I tried again, IMMEDIATELY after the payment was confirmed and I was still not successful. They just told me they refuse to change the address!!! I ended up asking for a refund and cancelling my order but this entire experience was so frustrating! PLEASE find another website and avoid dealing with people who DON'T CARE about your order. They just lie to you, the order takes forever and at the end, they will not even be helpful at all! Besides that, even though my bank notified me that the payment was processed, Lightinthebox was asking me for passport copies and copies of my card…Anyway, again, my advice is that you never use their services. There are so many professional companies out there that will do a great job.

Robbed
Please be careful when ordering from this website. I ordered from them twice and I got both of my orders when I placed them. That was in 2010. I paid with my credit card. I was happy with this website until I got my billing statemnt this month (March 2011) and was surprised to see that Lighinthbox charged be twice this month for over $300 USD. I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. I did not visit their website in months. I am in a state of panic because that money was for emergency purposes and now I don't have it. Why would a large company like that do this people. They are thieves, I was robbed. After contacting them they told me that I placed an order and cancelled it. This still does not explain why i was charged twice!

Be extremely careful when you shop online especially from companies in China. I need my money back. Stay away from Lighinthebox at all cost. It is for your own good.

I asked 7 of my bridesmaids to order their bridesmaid dresses via Lightinthebox. When they received the dresses, they were not the same color we were told they would be, and not the correct color that was ordered. We have contacted them via email, the only means of communication and have not received any response in return. They are not getting back to us, and therefore not processing or refunding any of the dresses. I am extremely upset and heartbroken. I am 6 weeks away from my wedding and my bridesmaids do not have the correct dresses. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they are extremely difficult to work with and contact. I am devastated and all of my bridesmaids have lost all their money. Does anyone know what I can do from here to get our money back?
