Defective faucet
I ordered a shower and bath faucet combination from LightintheBox for $120.31 . When it came and it was time for the plumbers to install it they found that it was defective in that it had no threads machined into the shower wand attachment so could not be attached to the port on the faucet for the shower. Then they discovered that the seat flange used to attach the faucet to the wall plumbing was cracked and defective so it would not stop leaking. When I e-mailed LightintheBox to get the defective parts replaced They claimed it was beyond thier 30 day warrenty even though it was defective from the factory and they refuse to send me the few dollars in parts it would take to fix the faucet. I think they should replace those parts because they were defective from the factory even though it is just a few days beyond the 30 day warranty when the problem was discovered during installatiion.

PLEASE DON'T DO IT
BROWSING THEIR WEBSITE I CAME ACROSS SOMETHING I LIKE . . . SO BEFORE PLACING THE ORDER I WANTED TO CONFIRM DELIVERY BEFORE CHRISTMAS . . . THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER (SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SIGN) SO I STARTED A LIVE CHAT . . . THE GUY TOLD ME THAT IF I ORDER BEFORE THE 18TH DELIVERY IS BETWEEN THE 21ST AND 23RD . . . TODAY IS THE 22ND . . . I CALL DHL GAVE THEM THE TRACKING # AND THEY TOLD ME MY PACKAGE WAS JUST PICKED UP FOR DELIVERY ON THE 21ST AND ITS NOT SCHEDULE TO BE TO ME NOT UNTIL THE 24TH . . . NOW NO ONE CONTACTED ME FROM LIGHTINTHEBOX . . . WHEN I STARTED THE LIVE CHAT TODAY I'M BEING TOLD I WAS TOLD WRONG INFORMATION . . . NOW REMIND YOU I BEEN DOING THE LIVE CHAT SINCE THE 20TH AND NO ONE NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING . . . DON'T DO IT . . . UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE THE GRINCH OR IF ITS SOMETHING YOU CAN JUST SIT BACK AND WAIT, AND WAIT, AND WAIT, AND WAIT . . . NOW ON CHRISTMAS EVE I HAVE TO GO AND PICK UP THE GIFT MYSELF . . . I WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN ANYTHING ABOUT THE NON-DELIVERY FOR THE 23RD IF I DIDN'T GIVE DHL A CALL . . . THATS CRAZY:(

take money no product
This company takes your money then doesn't deliver anything. Contact phone number and email addresses provided after the sale is made are bogus. The phone rings once the call is dropped and emails are returned as undeliverable . No way to contact this company once they have your money. I paid with Paypal so at least I will be able to recover my money.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!! It may sound like a good deal but there is nothing but frustration when dealing with this company.

Return Policy
LIGHTINTHEBOX SCAMS YOU ON YOUR REFUND!!! I strongly recommend against buying from LightInTheBox and here is why. Because I was ordering from online and wouldn't really know how the dresses would fit, I wanted to make sure I could get my money back on the dress I didn't wear. So I paid special attention to the return policy which said 100% refund or store credit if returned within 7 days. I gave them the wedding date for the bridesmaid dresses. They missed the date by 6 days!!! And later I found that after they took my money and said the order was in process they sent an email saying that THEY KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO MISS THE WEDDING DATE, but they still went through with the order and now they don't respond to my emails and they have not paid any refund!!! So I am out the cost of 4 bridesmaid dresses that I wasn't able to wear.

Hi,
I got an email saying that I ordered almost $1000 worth of dresses and I did not order anything, I was just browsing through! Also it said that they took of the money from PayPal But I do not have a paypal account! I was crying yesterday because that is a lot of money for something that I do not even want! Lightinthebox has just ripped me off! and to this I have no idea if they will send me something ( PLEASE DONT! I DONT WANT IT) and if they will charge me! I contacted them and did not get a reply! I am shocked and will never even enter that website!
I really hope that they will do something about it!

NEVER RECEIVED MY PRODUCT
I ordered false eyelashes on 4/23/10 from there website. & Lightinthebox had said that it would take 15-30 days. It's been over 30 days the maximum. I'm VERY disappointed! What is the hold up? I had ordered other false lashes at the same time from Ebay.. My shipment has arrived a week after I had ordered it. It's coming from the same location just as well (Hong Kong) I want my money back AND/OR my purchase ASAP. You guys are nothing but a scam. Oh and by the way. I went on the website to check my status on the shipping, & they had said the product was shipped 4/26/10. But than a week ago on 5/20/10, they had erased or cleared my shipping status? I don't understand why. I never received them! You guys are a scam! & a fraud!!!

Refund
I have ordered a cell phone from Lightinthebox. com. The delivery was flawless, but the item was with a fault, the camera could not been used. I have sent it back, and wanted a nother one, but they said it's out of stock and I'll get a refund...
The refund has not arrived to my paypal account since 2 month... and the order status claims that it is "Refunded"
The costumer service allways asks for patience, but after 2 month I don't have any...

My order number was 1001200100483499 (If somebody from the company is willing to finally finish the process)

After all this, I don't think that ordering from China is a good ideal at all. You can't do anything if something like this happens, because of the distance...

Think twice!!!

I ordered a football kit over a month ago, nothing has arrived. Tried to log in and it doesn't recognise my email, i have no way of contacting them, because you need to log in to submit a request. Not sure what to do.

dress not mailed/bad customer service
My mother ordered a dress for my daughter on Feb.03 2010. I was supposed to have it shippped in 11-13 working days w/ 3-5 days shipping or 6-9 days shipping. I was going on vacation from the 10 to the 20th, expecting that the dress might come while I was gone we chose standard shipping. Not only was the dress not there, it hadn't shipped, which it should have that friday. Or at least Monday, nope. When she contacted the company, they said it was Chinese New Year, to wait 5-7 days! That would be too late on standard shipping. They never gave a Chinese New year notice and the customer service people said they couldn't ship until March 2nd. Way too late since it had to be altered, even by their info. Then Customer Service started breaking down completely. We were told it would ship woday. Nope now it's 3-5 days and then 3-5 days for shipping! They would express ship it! Now they won't let her e-mail, she has to send in thses non functional tickets! No one answers them! No one's accountable for them! If the dress doesn't ship this week I HAVE to see if they will let her cancel! Based on other people's accounts that probably won't happen! I JUST WANT THE DRESS! I WANT TO KNOW IT WILL BE HERE, BUT NO ONE WILL TALK TO EITHER OF US! This is a joke of a company! Too many people have said it! PLEASE DON'T RISK IT! IMAGINE NOT GETTING YOUR WEDDDING OR PROM DRESS!

Wedding Dress
I ordered a long-sleeve wedding dress from Lightinthebox with custom measurements the delivery was fast, and at first I thought the dress would be perfect. After trying it on, I realized some alterations would be needed as I was unable to move or lift my arms. I found a tailor and she stated there was enough in the seams to let it out for arm movement. We noticed at that time the dress seemed a bit short in the front but thought after we got the arms situated, it would come down in front. After the second fitting, I was still unable to move my arms and it was very obvious there was a 3 inch difference between the front and side length of the dress. We removed one of the sleeves and after the tailor looked at it, she said there was no way anyone would be able to move their arms from the way it was put together.
I have complained twice to Lightinthebox but cannot get anyone to respond to me.
