FRAUD
Lightinthebox is a total FRAUD company. I ordered two laptops for my children for Christmas and even paid extra for shipping. The order was almost $400. I then received an email from them stating they need a picture of my credit card with only last for digits of number showing or copy of bank statement with only name and address and last four digits showing. Suspiciouss as I was, I did it anyway. Then I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled. I then called my bank only to find out that lightinthebox had already deducted the funds from my account at least a week before I sent them the picture of my card. I am a poor person and now am out $400. with no Christmas for my kids. That was to be their only presents. I saw their comment to include order number in complaint and they would take care of issue. Yeah right, I don't believe it but here goes anyway. I will let you all know if that is a scam too. Order# 0911241900402530 I NEED THAT MONEY BACK

FRAUDSTERS
Absolute Scammers!
Beware Buyers DO NOT USE!
They took my money and never heard from again. I opened a complaint with Paypal and was advised that if i Wanted my item to close the dispute and they would send out 9-14 business days later!!! That was how long it was supposed to take after the recieved my payment!!!
Anyhow, i havent closed the dispute and am now fighting for a refund! WIll not give up either! The telephone number they give ppl is never connected so the number i have obtained (by telling them i wanted to make a large purchase) is +16503840320. I think his name is GUGU. Keep fighting fellow scammees, we all need to stand up against SCUM like this!!!

No reply, No Feedback No, updates on my order.
I placed an order from this site,
and they said It will take maximum 1 week to get my order shipped.
So, I placed an order, and they took my payment very next day,
It's been 3 weeks now,
No reply, No Feedback No, updates on my order.
and I am still waiting for my order updates.
This is one of the most Awful shopping experience I ever had.

broken item
i ordered an mp4/p3 touch screen it took about 15 days to get and then i finally get my player it looked good
i charged it for alittle bit and then turned it on and was able to mess with it for a total of five min. then the stuipid thing just froze and that it, it wont unfreeze i even tried to reset it and it still wont work. I spent 50.00 for junk there has to be a way to close this site so no more people can get ripped off . the people from this web site are stealing and should be stopped

Bad service nad fraud
I had purchased a dual sim mobile phone through this website lightinthebox.com, which was expensive. when i found it i had cancelled the order n requested for a refund. the sent the a cancellation number n confirming that i ll be refunded in 48 hrs time. but its been 14 days i havent received my refund. im trying to contact them by email, but the mail is bouncing back. trying by phone, no one picks up the phone. i checked with their online customer support team, they r not responding me properly. this company should be sued. or customers like me will be cheated again and again.

fake football tops
hello,
i have recently brought two liverpool football shirts from Lightinthebox, when i received the tops, they were both the wrong size, but i also noticed that the shirts were not the real thing, as there was no Adidas logo and the spelling on the inside tags was rubbish, the colours on the 2009/10 shirt was wrong on the back, it is suppose to be all gold not white, this i have checked on the proper shirts in the high street stores.
I did send Lightinthebox an e-mail regarding the sizes to see if they would e-mail me back, which they haven't, i have also read some off the other compliants regarding this company, and it is my belief that i will never receive any correspondence from this company.

Total Junk
Chinese Junk - I purchased a dress which was completely tailored incorrectly. Size 2 on the top and a 8 on the bottom. The material is horrible and the color is even worse. They do not return emails or calls. TOTAL RIP OFF - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

bad business practice
Lightinthebox is an awful place to do business. I ordered a dress from the company after reading their "mission statement" and testmonials from previous customers. They advertised their ability to make a dress in 12-14 business days. Privided you pay for the extra shipping, the dress would then arrive in 3-5 days. All I can say is lies, lies, lies! They advertise the amount of days but that's false. They give you a contact number to call but nobody ever answers. You either get the answering machine telling you to leave a message or you hear mailbox is full, no doubt from the calls of other pissed of customers leaving messages! Their on-line chat is a scam. I used this feature several times. When I grew to be a pain in the ass they stopped chatting with me. You have to begin the on-line chat by entering you email address. I guess when I would sign on using my email address the intake would flag it and wouldn't patch me in to anyone. I would just get a message stating someone would be with me as soon as possible. I signed on to the on-line chat service using a different email address and low and behold, someone responded! They asked me for my account number to check my account, the next thing I knew I received a message telling me to hold for "gugu" the name of a different operator. Needless to say "gugu" never came to chat with me. I email them, they don't respond for days but if you read their advertisement, they say they respond in 24 hours. I have the emails to prove when I sent an email to them and their email to show when they responded. None of the operators speak english well and alot of the messages they send are computer generated! When you ask about the product you ordered, they say that it's in "packaging". I think that's their standard text book answer. To present and future customers, all I can say is BEWARE!!!

Artwork / painting = bogus
This sight sells popular contemporary canvas artwork that they claim is hand painted. Well I ordered a peice that was a Laurie Maitland called "tabbacco and chocloate". It got here and it was definitely hand painted by someone that has no talent. It was a bogus hand painted rip-off that looks nothing like the original. Do not buy artwork from this place. They also run other websites. lightinthebox.com, eshopwalk.com, and others. Don't be fooled by the cheap price, spend the extra bucks and buy from overstock.com or some other reputable source.
