I would like to know how to detect sammers from serious sellers and manufacturers, so I try only to contact directly the manufacturers.

I recently contacted the following site http://www.lilliput.com.cn/en/ over the purchase of a sample of one of their products. I also asked for a catalogue and price offer.

One should know that some of their monitors are very well known in the US and widely distributed on many webpages, there are also numerous reviews about them.

So, very quick I received a mail with a price offer as well as their 2011 catalogue.

To me their webpage seems legitimate and their cataloge looks like it's the actual brand's catalogue.

Now, does that seem like the actual company or could it be a scam, like some fraudulent company that acts like the real manufacturer?
