Poor service!
I keep all of my receipts. I purchased a suit from The Limited and it sat in my closet in the garment bag for about 3 months. I decided I just did not like the material on this particular suit. I went to the store to return the suit and "submitted my drivers license" and receipt through their "system". Well I waited too long to return the garments, they have a policy after 90 days. This was the 94th day. So I said look, the tags are still intact, I have my receipt, I would like to speak to a manager. She said I'm sorry there is nothing I can do. So she handed me the slip that printed out that tracks your drivers license and returns on your DL#. I wanted to complain, well come to find out it was not even the Limited. It was a third party service that monitors returns/exchanges. So, I went back into the store and asked for the limiteds corporate number. She looked up the item numbers and gave me what the prices were coming up as. Of course it was cheaper than what I paid and had the proof on the receipt. She said as a courtesy I could pay to have the item shipped to the corporate office along with my receipt. They would only refund me the selling price though. Well that ended up being about a $30 difference not to mention the 10-15 dollars it would have cost me to ship it back. She said that they have to enforce this policy due to the ever changing style trends. Come on, it was a black suit with pin stripes. They could have thrown in back on the rack and sold it just as easily as I bought it. I spend 100's -1,000's of dollars in that store every year. I have once never complained about the rude young ladies that work in there. God forbid you walk in your jeans and t-shirt... they look at you like you are not dressed appropriately to be in that store. I dress up every day for work. That is why I always shopped in there. I just always dismissed how rude some of those young ladies were.
